I just ordered one of these. I love the Empire of Japan!

Thank you for a very nice review. I have the one pen kimono wrap as well as the 8 pen wrap on order. I was looking for an alternative to leather cases. It appears to have a soft inner lining to protect my pens . I also like the pattern. One thing I am concerned about is the ability to protect pens if they are accidentally dropped or crushed. I feel the wrap might not offer as much protection in that sense as a harder leather case.

I have 4, and I love em. They do offer protection, and as I love my Japanese fountain pens more than the others, I like to treat them a bit. Ya, I know, crazy, but these look nice, and though a tad more money than I think worth, still a pleasure way to protect your choice pens. It's a shame yours are starting to come unraveled a bit. That shouldn't be happening... :-( thanks for the video, I enjoyed it.
