Really cool! Just one thing: sometimes it looks really weird and quite awkward how you don't use the IR illuminator, despite everything being full dark and you barely see anything

That is is true, but you gotta know that now days every one has NOD/s capabilities. If you can get Quads, the enemy can get them.
