Following on from my last video where I shotted my pole rigs, in this video I will show how to make the tool I used when going through the rig making process and my thinking's behind the markings behind it

Hi Matty I’m really enjoying all your videos there very informative Your bream shotting pattern what are your distances please from hooklength to bulk and if you was using bulk and droppers in say 5ft for f1s what would you suggest please. Finally bulk and droppers for F1s in winter fishing maggott Cheers Matty

Kenny Baxter hi mate just 6ich apart on bream rig and if I was fishing in 5ft I’d use bulk an two 6ich apart mate and same for winter pal

Have you got a standard list on how many shot to different size floats, like the new f1 maggot float 4 x 16s 14s 12s ect same for the f1 pellet and f1 fines to the above float weights

Hi can you do a video on what size shot / stots you use on each size floats and which would be the best shoting pattern for each I think I am using to many big shot in each rig and tend to go bulk and dropers on every rig. Ta

Tools and materials required : Claw hammer, two foot cold rolled steel rule, bag of galvanised steel roofing baton nails, random length of 4”x2”, bookies stubby HB pencil … don’t let your mates see you with one of these 😂

It’s a good starting point. But you have to flexible and move things according to how the fish want it on the day. Otherwise you’re fishing dot to dot, fish aren’t impressed you’ve used a rig board 🤪

Lee Johnson understand it fully but the way I like to fish means I don’t really move my shot about really and that’s why I lock them in place on my board, hope your well mate and staying safe cheers matt
