Those marks are not from the nose and a rubber nose protector will not eliminate them. Those marks are from the piston driver shaft. Because it is a 2 in 1 the driver shaft has a wide tip to drive the staples. If you do not want those marks then buy a brad nailer only for finish work that you do not want to have those marks on. But in either case you would still need to putty the nail holes. I am going to buy a different brand because that one does not have the depth adjustment wheel so you have to keep adjusting the psi to get the depth right.

Where do you find the rubber tip? I have the same nail gun and I'm not able to solve the problem about marks...

it's not tip that is marking on the wood bro, I think it's the firing pin that shoots the nail, its happening to my ryobi 18guage nailer even though it has a rubber nosing.
