I like the look of the new ones over the old ones. As a bonus, they stick out a bit and should reduce door dings 👍 I would recommend that your next mod be a catalytic converter guard. A neighbor of mine had their catalytic converter stolen from their Tacoma.

Never though about it helping with door dings! But since they do stick out the furthest. Should shit that before the car! And I have been hearing that a lot lately on the Tacoma’s, might have to see if I can get something!

They look good, I'd suggest putting a 3" lift with 285/70/17 and complete the stance of your truck

I received my running boards and watched video and I was able to install boards on my own Thx they worked out and look nice on my classic white off road taco

How the height to the step, too high ,low may I suggest locktight on screws lastly another pair a hands might makes easier, good luck & thanks

So I finally installed some steering controls on my corolla and the cruise control. I got 2 different clock springs and 2 different wire harness for the cruise control switch. The first clock spring is the OEM that was already installed and I got the cruise control switch with the 3 wires (3rd wire is for the airbag). The second clock spring is the one that allows steering controls and the cruise control comes with 2 wires because the steering wheel controls come with the ground wire for the airbag. The problem is the cruise control still don't work. No light cruise light coming on. Idk what to do now. I had another 2 wire harness and swapped them but still nothing.

That very strange, I have not had this problem on mine. I wonder if you just have a faulty cruise control switch? Was it a new switch or used? Because when I original went to replace my clock spring, I bought a used OEM, but turned out it was faulty and didn’t work. And ended up buying a cheap new one, and that fixed my problem!

@@BrandonStellmach Both Switches came from a 09 and 10 in the junk yard. The steering wheels in those cars weren't really touched or damaged. I had the 2 different wire harness with both them. One with an airbag ground and the other without. From what I found on the internet and 1 YT video is that the cruise control in the base model corolla is preset up but not prewired. The videos I watched said you need to run a wire from the ECU on side the fuse box to the yellow wire on the black Clock spring connector. I might try that, but I also have another Cruise Control Switch coming in Saturday.

@@kidlo2050 well when I replaced my steering wheel with one with cruise control and the steering wheel buttons. The only thing I had to do was replace my clock spring to get everything to work. @@BrandonStellmach yea I watch your video multiple times wonder why mine not working because we have the same car trim, mine is just automatic. Imma be test my original clock spring and the new one with the new cruise control switch tomorrow. Yea my steering wheel controls works perfectly.
