The TRD upper airbox 100% increase noise as well. Previously, I ran an HPS intake tube with the stock airbox and there was a slight intake noise increase. After swapping to the TRD upper airbox with the HPS intake tube and the TRD air flow accelerator, there is a huge difference in noise. This is all while running a WIX air filter btw. The TRD upper airbox also just looks really good.

Just did this mod myself after seeing your video. Definitely makes it sound more aggressive at 3.5k-4K rpm’s. Before there was a turbo like intake whistle sound, I’ve noticed it’s a bit less surprisingly.

I did exact same thing too and put a Trd accelerator intake on my tacoma as well works great maybe .5 or 1 mile to a gallon better but my opinion it just gets better off the line acceleration that’s what I want

Now you just need the important part, the trd intake flow accelerator, that goes on the inlet side of the stock airbox

i just tried to order the parts and they told me that parts can't be purchased that way & they blew smoke and said the individual parts would be wayyyy more than the completed intake kit.
