2 years ago cleaning out parents attic found my old radio from the 80s. Whitesnake tape still in tape deck. Prob was in there for 25 years

I had a similar experience, I took the cover off my old Mustang which was in storage for at least 25 years, I looked in the center console and there was a whitesnake cassette tape. Took me back to high school days.

Whitesnake one of the greatest hair bands I've always loved whitesnake what child of the 80s didn't like them and David has one of the best sense of humor of all time I believe a great sense of humor is important because people just want to be around you I bet he can tell some awesome fart jokes Dave seems like the type of guy that would be good at that he just doesn't get the recognition he deserves

Ratt had a Top 10 single after they put Round and Round in a Geico commercial. Pete Townshend said he made more money in a year from licensing Who Are You to CSI than he made from sales of single since it was first released. They wrote the damn songs, and if they still control the publishing, they can license it to whomever the hell they want.

@@cozycooke2040 no, that’s not true. Sykes went behind his back and tried to replace him as the singer when David Coverdale was recovering from sinus surgery that prevented him from singing for months.

@@ccchanel8171 good on him Coverdale’s an asshole. Sykes changed that band and was the pure essence of their success and Coverdale couldn’t have him taking the limelight. I’ve heard that Coverdale was making all these bullshit excuses to put off recording so if I was Sykes I’d be getting pissed Off as well and even worse even Sykes did go behind his back Coverdale couldn’t even face him to tell him he was fired, instead when Sykes went to confront him about it Coverdale ran away like a little girl.

@@cozycooke2040 how do you know, were you there? The record label chose Coverdale over Sykes. If Sykes was that brilliant, he would have been a huge success on his own. He’s no Eric Clapton, Jack White, Kurt Cobain or Jimi Hendrix. Whitesnake is Coverdale’s band. Sykes could have easily done a solo projects until Coverdale was able record again.

John Sykes is the best guitarist for Whitesnake in my opinion ! Such a great shame he wasn't in the lineup for the band that toured with the '87 album.
