19:01 onwards until he died was probably the single most intense piece of gameplay I’ve ever seen. Visibility is nonexistent, and the enemy going wide open with MG’s made it all so loud that you genuinely have trouble hearing, and the enemy is literally around every corner, making forward momentum damn near impossible. Add on top of that the utter lack of knowledge about whether the others are even alive, and you have one hell of a terrifying experience.

Agreed. And it's crazy how often this game produces moments like this. The campaign is going to be a freaking masterpiece.

What I want to see is the option to have more players and such, I think it would be cool to have a "squad mode" where you have a full 13 man squad of Marines, complete with an SL who'd have to coordinate them all. Of course, at least a second net channel would be needed I think it would add a lot to the game, especially if the developers were to expand the maps. It'd offer a lot more options tactically in the time before you actually breach- and allow the players the numbers to do things such as setting up security while another fireteam breaches and such.

Some buildings need a MAAWS into them. Or 120mm. Or a propane tank slapped .25lbs of C4. Six men versus something like a hundred insurgents seems mad.

The option to add more players I think would make the experience a lot better, a fireteam of 4 guys fighting through 50+ insurgents just kinda feels wrong.

Solid stuff! Really hope they can bump player count up to 8. Just not enough people to hold permimeter and clear those structures. Especially with the AI being really good!

I agree that 8 would be about right. They're designing for consoles as well, though. And I'm sure that influences a lot of their choices. Either way, it's already excellent.

@@ControlledPairsGamingHopefully the fact that them bumping things to console doesn't limit the player count. I mean PlayStation party chats can have 16 people in them, I'm sure XBOX can have quite a few aswell. Plenty of games out there on console have more than 4 player teams; it's just a dev decision at this point I think.

Had several buddies who were marines that were in Fallujah, one of them was kia, unfortunately. The other guys that were there and survived said it was a nightmare to navigate. Enemy entrenched in positions, so many doors and windows and wide open drive ways where you could get opened up on at any point. Not to mention the clearing of buildings, etc. I definitely don't miss any of that as a former Ranger, lol. First I'm seeing of this game but it looks very realistic. Kind of eerily so.

The game is amazing, epsecially after the wargame update. Six days is buggy as hell though. It's not uncommon to see an insurgent run mach speed through a wall or up to space.

It’s a form of point shooting marines used for CQB. Cuz when inside a building, the enemy is so close that height doesn’t really matter, and using the front post as a reference allows you to know what direction your weapon is pointed.

@@captainuseless2120 Not at that angle over top the ACOG it isn't, AFAIK. It'd give you like 20-45deg of vertical and throw off your aim in only a couple feet. And I'd almost get it for the 249, but between aiming correctly and this weird version, your low-ready to firing times are similar if not the exact same, whereas point shooting with a 249 at close range requires very little lifting of the weapon. Not sure I buy it.

@@theenglandguy Yeah. The bullets are going to hit above the sights. That’s understood, but it’s still much better than hipfiring when in such close quarters.

make sure you force 1440p, it is significantly better than 1080p bitrate.
