I own a galvion caiman ballistic helmet. It was expensive, but it is extremely lightweight. As someone who buys expensive gear I usually recommend less expensive items to friends.

He is still on mostly kennel rest, but he has a very big kennel in the living room with his favorite chair and toys now. He has his last surgery to remove some hardware on Monday! Then should just be another 2 weeks of recovery but then he should be good to go run in the pasture again.

I had one of those Chinese stuff, I recommend drilling or cutting the night visions shroud to fit, it worked for me for a while until I finally got a proper helmet..

I was as well because I didnt want to wait for the TW. I was highly recommended by my group to spend the extra dollar and wait the extra weeks. I dont have an HHV to compare it to, but no complaints that I waited.
