Lots of good options these days.. What do you roll with?

Kore is my EDC belt. After spending 100s of dollars on belts, this is the one I picked. Very stable and can support any size pistol or carry method.

I’ve got several Kore belts and use the tactical version daily now for the last couple of years. Never had an issue and highly recommend.

Recently I was in a defensive situation and lucky for me I had my firearm with Kore X3 gun belt on me that night. My wife and I were at a Red Lobster, enjoying an anniversary. It was later at night, around 9 pm. Usually in Philadelphia we wouldn't be out at night but you can't always hide inside from the big bad crooks. Long story short, two men our age (20s) approached us suspiciously. I knew what was about to happen as I grew up in the streets. I put my wife behind me to my left and I knew I was carrying at 4 o clock because it's how I carry when I'm in more formal wear and when I know I'll only be able to use one hand, as it's easy for my to remove my cover garment with one hand. Anyway, we were threatened at gunpoint, and my wife started opening her purse next to me. The man with the gun was distracted and fearing he was about to do something horrific I drew my gun quickly and shot him 3 times, aimed at his buddy and he flew out of the parking lot once he saw that. The man with the gun went down, my wife called the police. Unfortunately for me I lost my firearm in this incident, as evidence, but I am not being charged for the incident. I'm unsure of the condition of the attempted mugger, but he's in the hospital. I don't wish him a full recovery, as he'll be back on the streets. Long story aside I am posting the people responsible for my success that night, and saying from the bottom of my heart thank you. I train with my system constantly in different situations and clothing. I had my Kore X3 gun belt on me that night and I'm glad I did, it was a familiar piece of my kit when speed made all the difference. So you know I recommend these belts.

I got the Kore belt and it totally exceeded my expectations. Let me start off that shipping was very, very prompt. I received a tracking number and delivery was within 5 days. As far as the belt, awesome. I purchased the dark camo with stainless buckle and all i can say is "money well spent." This belt is quality all the way. The belt is flexible in the right direction yet rigid where you want it to be. The buckle is super solid with extra retaining screws provided. Honestly, this belt should last a lifetime. I am hoping that Kore creates a belt in a desert camo color configuration. Kore's price is more than fair considering the quality of the design. If you conceal carry, in my opinion it's a must buy.

Kore blows them all out of the water for EDC. I have the 8lb gun belt and have used it 12+ hours a day 7 days a week for the past year or so and it still looks new.

Love my Kore. Used a soldering iron with a blade tip to slice through the nylon (top layer) with one pass, then used scissors for the second cut to get all the way through the rest (bottom layer) of the material. No fraying and perfect finish. Practice on the very end to get it right before your final cut!

Congratulations to Kore for manufacturing the best belt at the lowest price for top of the line quality. You did an excellent job showing the difference in features and quality. 👍👍

I'm buying the Kore belt because the way it looked while he was wearing it.

Kore are my favorite belts. I bought 1 leather with an x3 buckle initially. Then I ordered 2 more Kore belts in the tactical style with both x6 styles. Very durable and adjustable to my needs. These are the only belts I wear now even if I do not carry my firearm.

Kore is the most sturdy belt I’ve owned. I’ve tried most of the other popular edc belts, including that other micro-adjustment brand, but Kore provides the most stable platform for drawing from concealment I’ve ever experienced. Great belt.

These kore belts are frikkin incredible. I dont know why I didn't buy it sooner. I live in CA where I can’t even conceal carry without an act of Congress (or Supreme Court). That being said I still bought this belt for my Alien Gear IWB holster. I wore it for one day and went to my closet and threw all of my other belts out except for my Ben Davis classic belt. The quality is top notch and it holds tight. I grabbed an additional buckle that is chrome and I wear this belt for both casual gear as well as shirt and tie. I can’t see myself wearing another belt. The belt came quickly and has screws to hold everything in place. Truly high quality and very strong. I’m a huge fan of this “clicking” system that holds everything I place. If you buy one, you won’t be disappointed.

The Groove belt and the Next belt are the non tactical looking belts which don’t attract too much attention. The cobra buckle belts are a pain to thread through belt loops. The Groove and Next belt fit my needs for IWB and extreme concealed carry. Great review and much appreciated.

I've bought 6 kore edc 8lb and leather gun belts, 3 for me and 3 for family and they're the best belts ive used period. Mine still look new after a year and a half. Fast donn and doff and the adjustment is superb. For the quality, I would pay double of what they're going for.

Blue Alpha guy myself I set the Velcro once and have never needed adjustments to it. Simple and robust, less moving parts, less that can break or malfunction. Blue Alpha fits my needs. My only problem was I didn’t have enough of them so I bought more!

I am a first time gun owner and on a different review on belts I decided to buy the Kore essentials and this video confirms that I made the correct decision. If it just a nice belt even if you are not going to carry a gun, the ratcheting system is nice and smooth and you can easily adjust when you are eating or sitting down to your confort. The belt is sturdy and it is just a great belt. I got one buckle and two color belts for $100 with shipping included.

I have the Kore hybrid nylon, black leather, and brown leather belts. Love them and don't see buying another belt for a very long time.

Kore is my all around favorite one but for a t shirt and shorts, I really dig the Groove life belts since they don’t create a big shelf around my waist, they’re much more flexible yet surprisingly very sturdy for as thin as they are, and are plenty strong to carry my G48. But if I had to pick one for everything, I’d still go with Kore. Those things are absolute tanks

My lady just got me the Kore gun belt today for Christmas. Feels great, we'll see over time but i think I'll love it.

Kore is the best belt I ever owed. Easy to trim and easy to assemble. Works when I carrying and when I’m not. Comfortable and love the styling.

Kore leather is king. Looks like a normal belt, which is important for EDC. Ratchet adjustment provides perfect fit every time, even if your weight goes up or down a few pounds, or your carry rig changes. Thin like a regular belt, fits in denim jeans or dress slacks. But it's still super sturdy and offers full support.

KORE ESSENTIALS GUN BELTS FOR ME. Especially the newer ones that bolt on the latch assembly with two screws in canvass INSTEAD of leather. LOL at watching someone try and cut a Kore belt especially the canvass one's with a pair of normal scissors. I use a very sharp mora hunting knife for that. Big plus for the Kore ratchet style is sitting down in your vehicle then getting out of your vehicle. In and out In and Out. A belt like the Kore that you can adjust in increments losing while you sit then tighten while you stand is one of the very best features of the belt.

I got a Kore belt about 6 months ago and it's by far the best belt I have ever tried. I got 2 511 belts but they are not even close to the kore. The kore belt for my daily carry really works well with the way they adjust.

Last year I bought a total of 3 kore essential belts in the tan leather and the tactical green and black. A year later I use them every day whether I am carrying my custom sig or not. I seriously don not wear my old belts anymore. If your like me and your waist is never the same size after lunch having the small adjustment feature is a big deal and keeps it comfortable. Last month I went and picked up there new operator 2 belt system for the range and same thing, it adjusts the same way and a total game changer at the range. I dont know anything about these other belts but I do know the kore is a solid choice.

I’ve owned four Kore belts two leather and two tactical for 3-4 years with zero trouble.

I said it years ago when Blue Alpha first came out with their cobra buckle that fit through normal beltloops, they changed the cobra belt game. I prefer their low profile EDC belts for work, and lean towards a Kore belt when I feel fancy...

Great show. When I was a Marine we used the 1983 web belt with the plastic buckle. TATICAL suspenders. 2 1969 plastic canteens. M-14 mag pouches. M -12 nylon holster and 1911A1 45 ACP Colt mag pouch. Rook sack or butt. On my left side suspender was my compass pack and K - Bar. My first aid, mess kit and cleaning kit was in my rook sack. Map, grenades of every kind. On the Suburban PD here in Wisconsin since 1995. I wore the Sam Brown Belt 94 buckles belt in basket weave. With Safariland Basket weave pouches and 6360 triple retention holster. It last 16 years not bad. Went to a basket weave Uncle Mike's belt with the plastic buckle. That buckle would break and others would warp from the heat. I picked up a Bianchi basket weave duty belt with the plastic buckle. I use a Condor TATICAL Elite belt with the Cobra buckle for tatical assignments and training and range. So 3 belts in 22 years and all new basket weave pouches from Safariland. My wife wasn't to happy but hay it's for work!

I have 2 Kore belts, and EDC with them. will probably pick up some of the dress belts. I took a chance when you first reviewed them and even used your Code for the first one. Happy I did.

Nexbelt Supreme Appendix EDC fixes the issues you had with the original design. Super easy push button adjustment. That's what I wear most often although I wish they made a version that was just a tad thinner. I have a Blue Alpha low profile EDC (velcro only, no cobra clip) and I prefer the thickness, but the ratchet system is too good to pass up.

NexBelt has a buckle that is specifically made for appendix carry. A push button adjustment and meant to be worn a loop over leaving the entire front open for your rig. Ive cycled between that and my Kore belt for a while, theyre both fantastic belts at a great price point. Love them both

So I have the 1.75 inch kore range belt to hold my IWB holster snug and it DOES NOT move in the least bit. No one else makes a track belt in this size. Completely fills the belt loops so everything stays put. Sturdy and built to last. Love it!

Kore garrison is amazing for heavier guns. As long as your belt loops are big enough for a 1.75" belt.

Just went through a CCW course this weekend running a Kore belt for the first time. Absolutely solid platform. Held up a 7-round L Frame 357 magnum like it was nothing, plus two speed loaders strong side and 3 mags for my semi-auto on the other side. Pants and gear all in place for hours. All the other guys were yanking their pants and struggling to holster, but I felt like I had a solid platform that kept my holster where I wanted it for every draw and reholster, and my rounds and mags where I needed them for every reload. Its definitely a great belt.

I have worn a Nexbelt for the last 2-3 years. It eventually started to fray, and twist. The ratcheting mechanism gets bound up. I picked up a Kore yesterday and can already tell it is an upgrade. The operation of the ratcheting mechanism is night and day better on the Kore, and the rigidity, plus extra stitching is a recipe for success. Very happy with my purchase!

I don't pretend to be some fashion model but I'm not wearing a nylon belt unless I'm going to participate in a pistol class. Gotta be leather. I purchased a Kore Essentials belt (leather of course) and couldn't be happier. It looks like a real belt and it meshes well with daily wear (blue jeans/khakis and a polo shirt)

So far my Kore belt is the best I've ever owned. I have been struggling with my pants slipping even with my Groove Life belts and I thought maybe Kore was the way to go. So I bought one for my kids to give me on my birthday and I have been blown away. I only have a few days with it so far, but the fit and support are unmatched. It keeps my IWB appendix rig secure, and it doesn't shift regardless of the activity. In and out of the car, up and down with the kids, carrying boxes back and forth, none of it made me "reset and re-tuck" my clothing like I was forced to do previously. I wish I had ordered one sooner.

TT my family has had a shop in the Dallas area for over 20 years and we sell alot of edc, webb, leather, battle, riggers & war belts, etc. I've tried them all except for the groove belt (whatever that is, not sure why thats included as a gun belt). Most decent belts have a place depending on situation and gear. But if I had to choose one belt for all around everyday carry (iwb, aiwb, owb) it would have to be kore. In my experience it has best support, easiest to adjust quickly and precisely, very very well made and its price point is good. I can tell you most of our customers choose it as well and come back to purchase more. Thats a big deal in our world. Of course this is one mans opinion and everyone has different needs.

Great review! Loved my Kore belt for years strong side IWB carry. Recently switched to appendix carry and found it to be a little stiff and didn't allow for bending over to grab something very easily. Tried the NexBelt which is a little more forgiving on movement and it made all the difference in the world. However, I do carry a dual clip appendix holster. If I try to appendix carry a single clip holster the NexBelt doesn't hold as well. So, I'd say both are excellent choices and you may prefer one over the other depending on the situation.

Wore my Kore out after a little over a year (that's actually really good, I'm HARD on my belts). Just ordered me another.

By far Kore is the best belt available. Being able to easily adjust it when sitting down or in a car and then immediately tighten it when standing is key. The stiffness keeps the gun planted so you know it will always be where you put it when needed. I have two of them. Love them.

Been using the kore essentials belt every day for over a year carrying a Glock 23 and 2 spare mags. It’s holding up great , the metal clip on my badge has rubbed a little of the finish off the edge of the belt where my badge always goes but the belt still works , I plan on getting more of their belts.

Thanks for the vid bro! My normal civilian dress code requires more of a classic style, therefore I prefer the Kore leather belts (especially for my growing son, who’ll be a teenager soon). But, when it comes to work, recreation, range time, and/or training I exclusively run SOE belts. In my opinion, they’re the GOAT of tactical nylon gear. Keep it up and stay safe! Peace.

Wow. Surprised. This was my first choice when I started carrying. I kinda thought you’d make fun of the Kore. Long term daily carrying I’ve gotten great life of mine. Gave my oldest to my son when he got carry license (it started to crack after 3 years)(maybe 2&1/2). The company asked me to review honestly and sent me a second one, & when they came out with the “tactical “ looking one I bought it too. Good product.

Kore really has knocked it out of the park. I wear to the black leather edc with a hidden hybrid 2 clip iwb/owb. Before, carrying concealed was something I noticed all day. I dealt with that for some time but after the Kore belt, shiiiiiiiiiiiit..... Lol. I'm never going back

Kore Essential belts hands down are the best. That is all I wear now. I have one for casual wear, one to wear on the farm and one for dress.

I carry Appendix, my first EDC belt was the Klik Belt, solid but to bulky of a buckle. Moved up to the Vedder Cobra Buckle with the smaller buckle. It was better but my biggest issue was the buckle getting in the way of my holster, mag carrier, etc. Then I discovered the Blue Alpha Gear EDC Belt which is specially made for Appendix, no clunky buckle, very minimalistic, and my favorite. It allows me to carry all my gear, no buckle to get in the way. I believe you reviewed it. I like to the Kore, and if I didn’t carry AIWB I could see wearing it. Great video as always.

5 seconds in and I'm saying Kore. What I've had for the past 2 years. I EDC the 1.5" nylon gun belt

We currently sell the Kore & Blue Alpha belts in all 4 gun shop locations. We originally carried Nexbelts unfortunately too many breakages & returns. That was our experience.I would just say that Blue Alpha 2 layer belts and kore are better made and definitely more support. I don't have any experience with groovy belt but it sure as heck would not support my setup.

Fantastic review. You sold me. I will purchase the Core. Note: If the track were 10" long & there were 1/4" steps, then there would be 40 choices, but not infinitely adjustable. The old boy scout belt would be infinitely adjustable between its min & max. lock points.

I bought two Kore belt when this video first came out, it’s been well over a year of hard use for the nylon belt and it hasn’t missed a beat. It’s a bit on the stiff side, but that makes carrying a heavier item, more comfortable.

Nice to know that even a true professional can also cut his Kore Essential gun belt a wee bit too short. 😲😂

AWESOME Video!!! I've bought a CRAZY amount of Belts trying to find one that fits good and doesn't sag. I bought the Kore Essentials about a couple weeks ago, and TOTALLY GLAD I did!!! Might buy the We the People belt and try that out too.

Rocking Kore also as of yesterday lol. Had an HSGI cobra belt for my edc for about 4 years. Still works. Then tried a Trex arms nova belt. Pretty much the same but I started getting tired of the cobra buckle not going through belt loops easily. So far the Kore seems more like a traditional belt in terms of how it's worn. Seems extremely solid. I'm sure I'll get a few years out of it.

I had to use trauma shears to cut my Nextbelt.

I got a Daltec force steel core leather belt a few years ago and that thing is a beast!! Still looks great and supports multiple guns, mags, & a multi tool and flashlight as if nothing was even there! I think it was around the $70 mark but so far has been the tank of belts.

Great comprehensive video! I recently purchased locally the Nexbelt and since their packaging states it fits all sizes, I found out its maximum is 50 inches. Luckily, Amazon had the 67 inch version so I ordered it. My brother recently obtained his ccw permit so I'm giving him my first purchase. Thank you for emphasizing the need to try on these styles of belts first before cutting.

Over the last decade as a LEO and carrying OD I have used all these belts. I was an admitted gear junkie until my wife cut me off and said I had to stop spending so much. For OD I use the kore brand now. All around the best for cc with a glock.

I wear a Blue Alpha Gear low profile edc belt daily. They are a simple Velcro design that just works great. And the price is right. My battle belt is also Blue Alpha. It’s amazing

The Kore leather gun belt is great. I've been wearing it daily since 2018. I did have to replace it after 4 years though because it wore out. I tried some cheap Amazon knockoffs but I learned you get what you pay for with Kore. I also learned to position the buckle at 10 or 11 o'clock to accommodate carrying appendix. The ability to easily and quickly adjust the tension is really unmatched, especially for a guy with a gut and no butt!

Yeah the Kore belts are the best for quality and micro sizing fitment. You esp apprciate it after a meal. I have several and just got their USA made in tan webbing and its their best yet.

I carry p365 appendix most days with either my Kore leather for work or black web kore belt on days off. This is beacuase they are more supportive than most others and the BEST for comfort. I used to have sore hips or back from carrying wiht my cobra belt cause I couldn't adjust the darn thing thru out the day. Dont miss it.

I have a few of the leather Neibert that I have worn for golf. Nice looking and work great for golf.

I use Ares Gear Aegis, Hanks Gun Belt, and Kore Essentials. I have the Grove Life Belt, but I wear it very specific situations. I wear it when I'm carrying a Ruger LCP Max or a NAA PUG-TC. Hanks is a great traditional belt that doesn't standout at all. I love it when I'm wearing a tucked shirt. Ares Gear Aegis Enhanced V2 belt is basically Kore on steroids. The main issue is cost being over $100. The Kore is most flexible with multiple looks and price to performance out there. You can go with webbing or a leather look while being very sturdy.

I have a k.o.r.e belt and have been using it for a year now just about everyday for 10 to 12hrs. I wear it while at work or when going out it has gotten soaked in water, sweat and its held up pretty good. The nylon on the border has consumed it self a bit from rubbing on the belt loops but it is still very good shape.the belt buckle dose get in the way just a little bit when carrying appendix but you can always put it to the side where it's free from your holster.in the end I give the k.o.r.e belt a 9/10.

Great job!! I have had to Nexbelts and they both broke down. The two pieces came apart after about 3-6 months wearing. I love the racket type gun belts, so I am going to try the Kore belt. It seems to be built a lot better. So thank you very much for your input.

Thick, saddle grade leather is what i like. Heavy leather is comfie, looks great, wears great, and handles the weather very well. I buy hand crafted leather belts from local saddle maker - leather store. Only requires a little bit of oil from time to time. For me, quarterly.

My needs are simple. i have several Klik 1.75" x 3 ply gun belts in fashion colors like black, coyote tan and my new favorite black multicam... for when I wanna get my freak on. I can hang anything from a sub-compact AIWB holster to a kydex holster for full size duty pistol with zero twist or sag issues. Cobra buckles break in and are self-polishing along the contact points where the tang inserts. Yours probably just got a scratch that that wlll smooth out. Real Cobra buckles are nearly indestructible and the belt strap will pull free before the buckle breaks. Some of the other belts are fine for jeans to business casual. Fortunately, I don’t do office wear...

I have the wolf tactical belt with cobra clasp and the springs wore out and it doesn't stay clasped anymore

I love being able to easily loosen the Kore belt when I sit down and then tighten it again when I stand or even add a little more tension to keep from printing in certain situations and then loosen it later when not around folks. It only takes a fraction of a second to tighten or loosen the Kore on the go and I find myself automatically doing it dozens of times a day for comfort and to stay in deep concealment better when necessary. With a claw or wedge on an IWB holster the belt tension is what keeps the grip tucked in but it doesn't need to be as tight in all circumstances, especially when sitting down. I don't see how people manage with belts they can't adjust on the fly. This is even more important for AIWB than in other IWB positions, but instant adjustability is a must. Negatives are that the Kore loses its stiffness over time as the material breaks in (in well under a year) and on the black webbing version I have the front edge begins to get bent over and degrades so that inserting the end of the belt into the buckle begins to get more difficult as well as just threading it through the loops. The area at the very end beyond the zip section where the end meets the zipper section tends to bend/flop over and not stay straight and stiff as the belt ages. It seems the belt part of the Kore will need to be replaced every year but the buckle is holding up great. I don't know if the leather version is any different since I haven't tried those. To be fair no other EDC belt I've ever owned has stood up for more than a year of daily use without getting too limp and having issues either. Kore is no different it seems. Maybe skinnier guys don't put as much abuse into their belts as they move and flex through their daily wear. Adding an EDC in an ICW holster puts even more stress on the belt. IMHO the Kore could use a stiffer inner layer sewn between the webbing layers and do a better job at the end of the belt so it stays straight and doesn't bend over as it ages.

I purchased a next belt about a year and a half ago, after wearing it every day the inner core actually broke. The buckle worked flawless. However, when trying to purchase just a belt replacement even using the search bar there is absolutely no. Joy.

So to sum it up Nextbelt is the cheaper version of the Kore belt and it's durability. If you don't care about holding things on your belt and want it for more comfort than utility then the Groove Life belt is for you.

Kore makes the best gun belts on the market I had the "N" brand but it failed in less than a year and was told I was screwed Kore is substantially better made and just feels nicer.

I have 2 Kore belts, wear them everyday. Also wear the Foundation belt by EDC belt company. Great belt

Dude lemme let you in on a secret.... Tin snips. They cut anything from paper and cellophane to rawhide, heavy plastic, metal, coins etc. Can't beat em! I've been using the same pair for a couple of years as my multi purpose go-to cutters. Thanks for the comparison, been carrying for about a year and a half now. Have good IWB and OWB holsters I trade out depending on situation and always use a decent dept store leather belt. Really starting to get malformed and looking to take the next step. Had the ares aegis enhanced and it was way too stiff and the buckle is way too thick. The blue alpha was next belt and I still use it for range bc it’s incorporated into the outer belt. The velcro made it hard to adjust especially since it was through belt loops. Now, I’m rocking the Kore/Tier1 collab and I like it a lot. It’s easy to adjust and just stiff enough. The only downside IMO is wearing an appendix holster like the tier1 axis slim, I Have to offset the buckle to the left where it’s infront of my belt loop. Doing that makes it harder to adjust and the lever can irritate your hip. You can put the holster behind the buckle centerline, but it pushes the gun out quite a bit. The little keeper you velcro also is a pain to put on sometimes. Minor criticisms, but they should be noted

Thanks for a good thorough review. Just ordered a Nexbelt last night after watching Poet Warrior review. Glad to see it was a close runner up to the Kore which was the other one I was considering. May check one out after seeing how the Nexbelt works out.

I wear the Groove Life belt daily for EDC. It works great for that purpose with compact pew and spare mag. I wouldn't load it up with more but it works fine for the daily.

I own the Kore nylon belt. It is my everyday belt. It gets loaded up with clip-on tool pouches and hanging power tools. To keep from cutting off at the waist, I also wear Nylon, no stretch suspenders, so my shoulders bare some of the weight. I have had it for over 3 years now and love it. The best belt I have ever owned. When I wear a holster, it does the job, no question asked. How much do I like it? I received my 1-3/4 battle Kore belt, so it will be in the wait-and-ready state. For fast use, peel the inner belt free and put the outer belt on over my clothes. For planned training, put on the inner and outer belts. And the Safariland holster works great with it.

My 2 go to belts are the kore belt and the blue alpha gear belt without the cobra buckle love that belt to death. Kore belt is my going to town belt and blue alpha is my everyday belt

We torture tested the Kore Essentials belt on our channel during one of our Emergency Weapon Retention classes. It held up. While interested in trying the Groove Belt for casual EDC, I know it most likely cant take heavier pistols. I can imagine it is more comfortable though.

Kore belts for my EDC. Good for casual and business attire. Best belt IMO.

Kore definitely for my EDC & work belt in the HVAC service technician carrying tools & equipment & can't wait to get my set of 2 Kore tactical gun belts this week cause my 6 leather belts ready for trash heap or dog toy.

Love my Kore belts, my only complaints are that the buckle starts squeaking and clicking when walking around. For the tactical ones the feed end starts bending out over time and given is superior rigidity it is very difficult to correct that deformation.
