Used to get my boots from the surplus store in town at the beginning of the school year and then since I woke up early I added this to my morning routine to pass all the extra time

When I went through EMT school we didn't have to polish our boots. The police academy is a different story.

Yea I only realized after becoming a C/SSgt that we r supposed to shine them -_- Btw did u use a washcloth instead of the smooth cotton one he uses? If so, how did it go?

Hell yea. I wear and LOVE my Nike SFS. Been hammering my pair for two years and I think they could use a nice cleaning but I just bought four more pairs lol.

This is how not to polish your boots unless you want them looking dull and getting yelled at during inspection. You gotta use some serious shimmying with a soft cloth and a crap ton of polish. Use a blow dryer for the heat.

It is best to polish them whenever you plan to wear them. I polish them every night before wearing them.

Invest in a cheap heat gun. You’re welcome. This is very basic, using heat will speed up the process.

If you know how to shine your boots, you don’t need a lighter, you dont need a toothbrush. You can do it with wax, cloth and water/spit and get a great shine. We all have out method of shining. Just because yours works for you, doesnt meant ours doesn’t work for us.

Times has changed. Many different & effective techniques out there to save time & get the same or better results. The again, a simple polish shine outlast an mirror shine on a "daily" tactical/patrol boots.
