That fear of them being straight is what I don't share at all because saying someone is not straight is pretty much like saying "person x likes blue more than white." this can be true or can be false but it's by no way offensive. Actually people getting offense over being called anything but straight is way more offensive. Lets imagine they are straight, they can just deny it and that would be it. It doesn't really matter but now imagine them being gay/bu/asexual/etc and everyone automatically assume they are straight and even just the thought of them being anything else make them feel "guilty". Both taehyung and jungkook mentioned more than once that they don't mind shipping at all, one of them was less than a week ago when they actually got happy when a shipper told them she likes taekook. I have a voice and I rather using it in a way to prepare people to accept if anything like that actually comes up because if it's not true, no one is gonna get hurt but if they are like that and people keep putting them on a cage of "unormal" or "shameful" etc then that is going to hugely influence them. And it's not like I say my words are fact, I make sure to always call these videos analysis and in this video I even stated it's a theory more than once. I rather try to normalyze people understanding that not everyone have to be straight rather than letting people feel "sorry" for MY COMMUNITY for being who we are. Don't feel sorry for us, we love who we loveand that's a beautiful thing. Also no gay men are not people who just like D over V, it's not all about sex ok? They also like hugging, they like being romantic, being kind to each other, they also are into all those fluff and just because something wrong is trying to heterolyze everything lgbt+ people do, it doesn't mean those people are less of what they are. Yes I know korea has fan service but the whole fanservice is based on trapping and attracting US, my community who just wants to be recognized more. And if they want to act "gay" to make fun of it or normalyze it as a normal heterosexual gesture, I'm still going to mention that it's gay. Yes best friends can also be touchy and everything but there is a line for everything and if you turn the table, see all these things between a heterosexual group of friends at least half of you would be sure they are dating. This is the problem that you all are missing, you are letting people being stepped on because deep down you actually think having a different sexuality is something offensive to be ashamed of 10% of population is gay yknow? And that's only the number we know despite a lot of us are still in the closet. And being gay is normal and ok, it's not offensive at all and if you do take offense by this single word, please block my channel and don't ever get close to me. how many idols are in korea? how many of them admitted they are gay? one, out of every one of them while technically a lot of them are not straight. People are not accepting there? SO everyone just have to bear the pain and let everyone trash talk them? none of you look for any changes? Not just in korea I'm talking in general, if you keep using a culture as an excuse to hide people from who they want to be then how can you call yourself a supporter? I'm still doing what I do but please understand that world is not just black and white and there is a possibility for everything. i normally don't cry at words written on a screen, but the beginning touched me. a lot. i believe that figuring out your sexuality can be hard. not to rant about me, but it took me almost 3 entire years to figure out who i was. one day, i flirted with a boy, the next, a girl. it was confusing. i hated the fact that i didn't know who i was, even though the answer was right in front of me. the first crush i ever had was liam payne from one direction, and god, he was gorgeous. i was happy and listening to they don't know about us by one direction; and it made me realize that there are hidden feelings and relationships everywhere. not just in boy or girl bands, but also on tv shows, youtube, anywhere there's two people. then, i found ariana grande. i was crushing on her so hard, i still have the 6 posters of her to this day. after that year went by, i found bts. it was i think, october 6th of 2013 when i became an army and fell in love with them. again, i had that feeling. i was terrified of the fact i didn't know who i loved more and what suited me better. nobody knew i liked girls at the time. i didn't want to be in love or be 'queer', i wanted to be normal. so i ignored my feelings for a long time, and promised not to have a crush on another girl. and one day, it was february 16th of 2015 to be exact, this new girl came into my english class, and she was so, so pretty. i wouldn't stop looking at her. and when i became friends with her, i didn't know what to do. do i tell her i like her, or do i keep it private? and later that day, my friend who i'll leave unnamed decided to ask a question i really couldn't answer. "lea, why do you hang out with only girls?" it wasn't that i had a crush on every girl i hung out with, it was that i felt comfortable around them. i didn't mind telling them how i felt. but then, i had a group of guy friends, and then i realized; i must be a monster or something. i thought you could only love one gender at the time. it sounds dumb, but i came out september 21st of 2017 to my mom, and my mom gladly told me she was okay, and that i was bisexual. sorry for ranting and being boring, but that's what taehyung and jungkook are doing in this video. they feel comfortable around the same gender, whether they're bisexual, gay, straight, anything. i highly believe in taekook myself, and one day, hopefully the world will realize that being homophobic isn't nice. it hurts a lot of people. so happy pride month everyone. 🌈
