Especially these months now, you can see that taehyung got more confident with himself and is the funny tae we knew back then. Since I'm an army for many years now (since 2014), you guys need to know that 2017 was a really rough year for him. He lost friends (one committed suicide or died as I remembered) and he lost his grandmother near that time,that he loved. I don't know if you guys remember the snow white episode where they danced go go, but that was the time around he was looking real depressed. I think since 2020 he's really trying to cheer up and just focus on the people around him, and make himself and the others happy. As long as both jungkook and taehyung make eachother happy, as well as the others I'm happy as well

I genuinely think the grammy moments made BH realize how powerful taekook are just by standing together. Locals simping over then and asking if they are lovers. And then the dramatic story that was "fabricated" by BH in the soop of them being driven apart. The only thing that is changed from back in debut days is the maturity of their relationship. I think Taekook's In The Soop date was meant to finally make the rest of the fandom to at least believe Taekook's bond is real and not fake, not to convince the Taekookers they were uncomfortable before. They just made Jk say those words because that's exactly what the rest of the fandom believe, due to BH separation they think Tk were just forced or whatsoever. Now with the new contract wherein they most prolly agreed Taekook will take care of that matter themselves because they're already grown ass men (unlike before when they were young that had to be guided), BH at least gotta clear out the mess they created and make the rest of the fandom believe that Taekook's bond is real by making the "awkward friends" be close friends again. I want to share my insights about this declaration that Tae & Gguk got awkward with each other but acting out the opposite. And I hope baby ARMY could pick something up from it. And I hope even solo stans will appreciate the rest of Bangtan through this. I don't ship Tae & Gguk but I believe that among the 7 Bangtan (Who I love as a group) the 2 youngest has a bond that are much deeper or on a different level than the ones they have with the rest of their hyung. It makes sense, if you think about it, they literally need to grow up together, to keep up with their hyung all those trainee years. When they lived in their dorms, the rap line have been sort of assured of their place in the group, they were already doing performances and has recorded their raps as a trio and are songwriters too. Jin was not living in the dorm and is in college, dropping by only during training. And Jimin joined them many months after. There were other trainees who lived with them, one by one dropping out, failing to make the cut or quitting due to pressure. It was literally Tae & Gguk together for months trying to survive in a grown up world, where they were awkward, unsure & insecure. If that is not enough to make you bond together, I don't know what will. I think this is why Tae & Gguk created this mutual support system where they bring each other up, to always be on each other's team, even when their hyung is saying no, they will always say yes to each other (even up to these days they do this still) it is their survival pact. American Hustle Life - Gguk was more excited than Tae when Tae got praised by the vocal coach - because finally Tae's voice was recognized for its quality & value in another genre more than hip hop. I think this is because Tae used to be insecure of his voice quality that is not as appreciated in the SK Idol genre. And Gguk is happy somebody in authority has already seen Tae beyond the pretty face he is. Gguk always saying in interviews & documentaries, it was Tae who made him change & become more interactive. Corroborated many times by Jin, RM, Hobi, SUGA & Jimin. I think this is because Tae's devil may care attitude & willingness to get scolded as long as he gets to speak his mind gave Gguk the courage to do the same. And Tae is playing the brave hyung to make sure the introverted maknae will have someone to be scolded with and to confide with. Remember in SK age is a big thing. Maknae are supposed to be docile & follow the elders' instructions & decisions. So Tae & Gguk has always been on the disadvantaged end. From bickering brothers to equal-footing friends to whatever they have right now (may it be filial or romantic, it does not matter to me, I will always love the 2 youngest of BTS). Tae & Gguk will not lose that comfort level they have with each other no matter what the agency say or publicity team may come up with. Because what they share between them is more than any of us ARMY can ever imagine. They've been living together since 2010 (that's 11 years come Sep) throughout their growing, exploration & discovery years, subjected to life's changing times & work challenges they are each other's constant. I don't think they will even be willing to lose that kind of relationship, whatever kind of relationship that is. Because to do so, is literally like losing half of your body & brain. More than 10 years of shared life is no joke it will take more than a storm to make people who lived that long together to suddenly be awkward. But to put context to BH's strategy - I don't think this control measure is just to promote other ships - I think this to protect the group and Tae & Gguk themselves. And I think Tae & Gguk is also in on it, otherwise I don't think they will agree to the subtle cover ups & the narrative if they were not convinced it is necessary. Tae & Gguk both has a rebellious streak (RM, Jin, Yoon, Hobi - called them troublemakers, mischievous & difficult to control so many times in the early years) I don't think they will be silenced if they chose not to, but they love their hyung and BTS itself and they will not put any of their hard work in jeopardy just on a whim. Because at the end of the day when the cameras are away - they are free to be how they are with each other and that is what matters most. So, BH should not be called out for putting some controls & discipline on them. I think all 7 of them are in agreement with everything they are doing, they are public figures and millions of minors look up to them, so they need to be responsible idols. They need to wait for their ARMY to mature too. RM saying "we are in one boat looking at different directions but we are all aware that we are in one boat" (and that boat will reach the same port - what they do after that is up to them but until they are in their BTS boat they will work together for their collective dream). Maybe when no one is bickering about ships anymore, they could speak more freely. And not just Tae & Gguk, I believe everyone in the group has a bigger story to tell, we just have to give them time for the story to be ready enough to be shared. In time, I believe they will tell. BH truly underestimates Army sometimes. We watch way more than official BH content and we have eyes and stuff. If you only watched official content, then that Soop conversation might make sense to you I guess. If you watch red carpets and award shows, behind the scenes, fan cams, interviews, and understand basic body language then that Soop mess was a bunch of bull.
