I think as this chapter closes, I reflect over the past few years and I will say something with regards to TaeKook. (So much to say though). One thing hasn't changed, and that's Jimin. He still gives them the same amount of love, cuddles, and just by being there he always has. What also hasn't changed is what he calls them. He has called JK his little brother for over 9 years now, that has never changed. And he calls V his best friend. What has changed, their, (all members generally speaking), defiance to staff who want to separate them; Because in the end, rumours will happen regardless, why deny Artists who make money for you their happiness? I think staff need to remember, they need BTS a hell lot more than BTS needs them and they're not young trainees anymore, they'll appreciate fair guidance but telling them what to do can lead you to having no job.

Welcome back 😁. I noticed so many emotions they displayed throughout the last few months. Their Harry Styles moment was probably the freest and happiest I've seen them. I was fortunate enough to attend the LA, LV, and Silk Sonic concerts and got to see most of their interactions. I loved it when they were able to literally shine from happiness. I still feel they probably had to hold back due to the fact that they still have military service looming over them. Of course, I wish them nothing but the best in their future endeavors 💜

Welcome back! … I ‘bumped’ into your analysis from the pre-debut till 2016 and that got me interested into the TaeKook and the people behind the masks, so thank you! - for full disclosure, I am not an ARMY so I have no gain or ulterior motives other than my admiration for them as artists and as human beings. Most of the analysis out there is based on subjective video cuts intended to prove their point sometimes ignoring the big picture as if looking beyond the standard fanservice or the just ‘best friends’ we, intelligent people are to believe that we are sick if we believe that they do have a life behind the camera and outside of ARMY and that doesn't mean that they love their ARMY less - if that would not be so, then they will really need some therapy because any normal adult male will have a life by mid 20’s, even the monks have one 😊. Dating is not scandal, who you love is not a scandal and to be loved back is a blessing so if anyone wants to uncover scandals, there are plenty out there: how the IDOL industry works and does, why so many suicides and broken careers, why so many ‘contract marriages and marital infidelities, etc., etc. …. Plenty! But your analysis had more objectivity as it looked upon them not just as artists but also as human beings that we can admire, laugh and cry with, and learn from. No one in their right mind could question their talent and professional accomplishments, love for their art and willingness to give it it All for their fans and even nonfans. I also think that looking at them from a human perspective in an honest way can only help, not just us towards a deeper appreciation of who they are, but also by showing them the support and love they need in order to move forward in their career and in their private life. SK societal and cultural norms are not the most open minded or inclusive no matter what they say on paper (which is not much either) but that is home for them and it matters. At this point in time, I do not expect much reveal until the military situation is clarified because being in a limbo is not that inspiring for an artist. But yes, much has happed lately: agree that Jimin is the only constant, his friendship with V is as honest as it can be and it never blurred the line something that all of us can use as the friendship ‘gold standard’. JK unconditional deep affection and support towards V also has not changed even though many times the sadness in his eyes couldn’t be overridden by the professional smile or the scripted ‘fanservice’ for the cameras (including their getaway shows, etc.). V, on the other hand still has occasional on-off 'stuff' - I think his unreleased songs are a lot more personal than his ‘on camera’ ; too bad we listen to them after the fact. Now in the last couple weeks it looked OK but will he be going to flip again? Are these flips of his a way to distract the ‘tribunal of good behavior’? still, it broke my heart to see his rejection look towards JK from the 2021 Xmas event (when they dressed up as var. characters) that was after the NY Sep 21 … And then January -Feb - Mar - Ap - May 2022 some glances towards other that were not fake nor something new… looking carefully, even on an edited clip, for a split sec. you can tell that JK noticed and knows and there is hurt. But I also noticed for the first time that at times, JK has the ‘whatever’ reaction and ‘whatever’ is never good, or maybe it is …. - but then, just a small tap from V and he is absolutely glowing and I do not know of any friendship, no matter how close that can make one glow that way, even after 10 years!. As mentioned earlier, I only base my observation on subtle body reactions that can’t be faked or scripted. Now I still have questions: why did Jin, RM and Jimin gave a worried ‘check-in’ glance to JK when V gave his short speech at WH Press Room? JK, on his part, to make sure he ‘behaved’ had the ‘stare look’, poor thing …. Why in the last few video clips it looks like V is softly ‘passing’ Jin to RM? I also agree with another comment that V seems a bit bolder in the last few weeks … going golfing in DC but being on the phone most of the time, wearing a crop suit jacked ( so not his style but JK's and it looked awesome on him) at the VIP premier including the JK gifted jewelry ( simple, very masculine and very stylish) And then, there is his latest unreleased song, the 3AM one - JK’s 06.13 My You sounds more like a response to the 3AM one and a ‘thank you’ for the loyal ARMY …. Hm… two birds with one stone, good job JK I know this is a long essay but I so enjoyed your posts, including your own fan base that shared their comments so my thanks to All of you for creating this safe place to just share thoughts - take care, be safe and healthy and be happy!

The separation he's talking about in his Proof video, I think, is more about himself than with TaeKook in this case. (Then again, struggle of self includes everything). It's being able to draw the line between being the performer on stage and being the person he is off stage. But I think now he's realised that they're one in the same and all it is is just him switching hats (as we say in Social Work) between him being at work and him being on personal time.

Nice update! One notion I would like to correct its about BTS disbanding due to taekook in 2018. I think it has much more to do with their company BH and their contract. These guys were at the peak of their careers and work hard but not given enough dues by BH. You could see after their comeback the members were made shareholders, jin(coming from a rich background even accrue more stocks), and jk proposed that they be involved in every step of their music till production, and I think this still hold till date. These has significantly given each member to shine in other areas....jk likes to direct, V works on visuals, and has even made Suga explore his full potentials in production. Taekook at first was supported by their hyungs and BH...you could check videos of them in 2014-2016. But they started getting worried when they are all up on e/o in public events....and that's to be expected particularly as jk had just attained puberty...so it's okay for them to be raging with hormones 😃. So I think that was when the separation started and they are free with each other off-camera. But as they grew to young men, they felt controlled....you could see in that live where jk and V were making flowers and talking about 'taekook', V was staring-down a staff who doesn't want them to bring that topic up. They are grown men now and its their life and decisions to make and we can see the dynamics in recent years!

Taehyung embraced himself and I couldn’t be more proud!! From 2019 i could tell Tae was more confident and open in his interactions with JK. Finally got to watch this video! Okay, thoughts: 1) Taekook hadn't crossed my mind at all when I listened to V's "Proof". Initially, I had assumed that he was battling against V taking over Kim Taehyung; that he had struggled to distinguish between the two. This is pretty common for performing artists whose personal and professional lives often blur together. However if we consider that Taehyung's sexuality & relationship status are part of Kim Taehyung and influences V, then your Taekook analysis fits perfectly. 2) I read a fanfic recently (sue me!) that was based on a Taekooker's analysis of Taekook over the years, so debut-2019. It included key moments, like the 2018 MAMA; the contract renewal, as well as the forced separation by staff, etc. While it's a work of fiction, one thing it left me thinking about was how incredibly difficult it must have been for them to maintain their relationship, and how crucial the other members were in their relationship's survival- the members protected them from the worst, I believe. I think that as they've aged and amassed power (monetary, social, artistic), they can now dictate how they will navigate their careers and personal lives, within reason. I think that's why we see an increase in Taekook moments today. You rightly put that they are "testing the waters". As a queer person myself, I didn't just come out. Society is hateful toward us and coming out could mean ostracization & death (even in my country where LGBTQ+ rights are enshrined in the Constitution). 3) Taekook is Las Vegas took me out. When you have time, can you please make an "uwu" moment compilation of their time there? The lap moment, the Cinderella moment (and Tae's reciprocity); the LGO moment for the photos. Not to mention JK commenting on Tae's dancing video- something I haven't seen him do. To be frank, JK has always seemed the more reserved, more obedient type to me, whereas Tae was a free-spirited rebel (within limitations). Today, however, I see a more defiant, assertive Jungkook which is pleasantly surprising. One thing that's been consistent, however, is their praise and respect for each other, as we saw in JK's live and then Tae's as well. Ok. This was an essay, but I had to share. Thanks so much for taking the time to put together this video; I appreciate you! I know it's not easy, but we're thankful for your effort. Rest up and heal and we'll see you soon! i cant tell if this is serious or not or if this in a romantic partner way but shipping irl idols is strange. Especially since theyre irl humans not not some cartoon characters.
