I agree with you. I'm very new and try to learn about them. In my opinion , Although JK often livestreams chatting with army and shows off his personality, But I clearly felt a sense of privacy. It's like he gives his full attention to his fans but has clear boundaries in his personal life. And at that point he thought carefully. He looked like he didn't want it revealed. It is his life as a normal human being. We will know as much as they want us to know and I respect them.

@@ssrt7339 that's the thing. He shows like every little thing when does live and all. But u can see/sense the boundaries he puts. He shows what he needs/wants to show not extra stuff in his personal private life which concern any of the fans. And that's totally fine. He's s subtle guy. Even my own close friends don't know what goes in my life.... And he's a big big celeb who's constantly being stalked and scrutinized for his every actions. So he keeps certain things seperate.

I watched one of the new jk videos from his album. It got to me. I felt really angry. After watching Suchwita with Tae, jk, and suga, I thought how jk's friends are right there, availavble: tae, jimin, suga, rm, and maybe even the others as well, but JK is hiriing other dancers to be on his album. Tae and Jimin are right there, available! But no, there's a bunch of other people getting those parts. I understand that it's his "solo career" but my feelings about bts, loyalty, friendship don't understand. My feelings are screaming no.

The reason they have to hide is because South-Korea is not a country that accepts LBGTQ. And then they are also in the Idol industry and there fanservice is ok, but being gay is not. So for their carreer and for their private life, this is necessary. They also still have todo their military service and in the military, it is really not accepted! So if you take those factors into account, it is very logical that they don’t come out with it openly. They do however show us. Also, as Jk said: my relation with Taehyung is not for camera. Private, not secret.

Because south korean society is not that open. Infact in this world many countries has problem with the choices of people specially when it come to sexuality. They know this fact very well and hybe too. It will affect there career and life. International ARMY may support them but in their own country they will be left out.

@@truelighthI agree with you. Only one thing: homosexuality is not only not accepted in military, it is strictly forbidden. South Korea has a strict military criminal law, which is also controversial in the country. In 2017, two gay soldiers were sentenced to prison, because they had performed „ consensual acts on each other“. Fortunately, the Supreme Court overturned the ruling in 2022, because these actions did not take place on military territory and therefore could not be punished under military criminal law. Maybe a little progress, now all that needs to be added, is social acceptance.
