Confidence tbh. Taemin has been in the industry for so long that at this point his confidence on his art is reaching levels that you don't really see in kpop. As someone that saw him grow since Replay, I can confidently say he really does not care what "standards" are anymore. He is releasing what he wants and enjoying what he is doing and is phenomenal.

Taemin is like an angel giving us life, but also a devil killing us softly with his dance move. The duality is insane.

I am a 30 year old mother. And now, just one week ago I heard 'Move' for the first time. And then Want, Criminal, Idea, Advice etc etc. I never, really, ever felt so many things while listening to music. I was like living the emotion he deliveres through his music and dancing. Maybe that is called the Taemin effect. He is on another level, unlike every Kpop idol/group. Unbelievable for me how there are so many songs that are by far not as good as this but has a lot of more views. I really believe that Taemin is too far ahead of us and that this is the reason that the most of us can't appreciate just what he does. God bless his parents.
