1995 the most complicated time for our people, I was born
The Ma Ner Plaw’s complication had mom, dad, aunt and uncle run for life, short on food, everyone struggled to find home, and home is now refugee camp.
My heart is satisfied, shoes on my foot and rice on my plate
I am blessed, I am adored, I have more then enough to put on

To the day I die, I won’t forget this so called “refugee camp rice”
There is an old saying “it’s a temporary roof for us to rely on, in short or long, we all will be out”
This place is refugee camp, however it has become my home village.
I learned about the history of my people, my ancestor’s home isn’t here, it's in Kaw Thoo Lei
Each day passes by, wandering around, and never can I escape this place, refugee camp because I grew up had fun here and my heart likes it here.
Friends leave and move on to the comfy living in the city and all I can do is watch them leave in the distance.
