I thought it was perfect! Jimin had 50% screen/vocal time - we know there WAS a lot of concern for Jimin over that. Also, I think they wanted the focus to be more on their vocals (I noticed some different tone to Jimin’s voice here and there, which was so great!) This really is a monumental collaboration- 2 Kings of KPop together! We also have to keep in mind this IS Taeyang’s song; even so, he didn’t overshadow Jimin and vice versa! It’s a fantastic song that showcases both of them beautifully. Jimin is a masterpiece! What a fantastic prelude to his solo album!!!💜💜💜. I was at the song release last night and like 40 minutes after that, the reactions started like BAM! I watched a reaction by Taeyang fans that were not BTS fans as I understood (they were 2 Korean guys) and they mentioned that one of Taeyang's "signature" characteristics was showing himself shirtless when he was still with Big Bang, and made some other comments on "moves" he is known for, somewhat like Jimin flipping his hair and body rolls.
