+The Dangerous Divas No. Taeyang voice range only 3 octav and 2 not. Taeyang cant reach high note, that's why in BIGBANG song difficult not and high pitch become Daesung part. I think he was surprised how singing a duet with a woman could change the meaning in this song. It's so emotional that it sounds like a couple who have torn each other up. It's passionate and painful, yet stunning to listen to. It's not just a man's lament about loosing a woman who just coolly walks away, but now it's about two people who are trying to break away from each other but keep coming back to the pain of letting go. I could feel from her a lament of 'I can't go on like this. Let me go.' and from him 'Why does it have to be like this?' It's a tug'o'war of emotions.

@@multiestan8390 No, all the lyrics are the real lyrics of the song. The execution/performance of course because they are duet feels like they are arguing/answering each other and it feels like different perspective of a relationship in a one song now.

I’m sorry but it’s not ALOT of women who has a voice like hers!! Her diction is clear, she is singing from her diaphragm, she isn’t straining her voice! She is one of the best females I’ve heard especially when it comes to Korean artist. A lot of artist in general get a lot of help from the studio and her voice is PURE!! Kudos to her!!

I like how Taeyang is being a gentleman like he always is, giving her moments to shine. She’s great, very soulful without sounding like she overdid it. Her voice cracked a few times towards the end, Taeyang almost did 😅 but he didn’t anyway which shows the difference between a seasoned performer and a newbie. Oh Taeyang my forever bias 💜

If I'm not mistaken she actually went to K-pop Star 5 as a contestant after this video had millions of views. But the judges gave her feedback about some singing things I don't really understand, it was about something she had to fix to sing as a soloist which is different than singing duos like this. You can look it up. I think the opportunity was there, but I guess she ran out of luck. If you are talking about fame because of talents without the necessary looks there are AKMU, Lee Hi, Jung Seunghwan, and others coming out of K-pop star. I know it's a small portion compared to the rest of K-pop, but it's there.
