Same opinion especially her OST. Her early OST are strong and full but her latest OST are seasoned and knows her control of her voice.

Technique and control wise she wasn’t as impressive as she is right now right off the bat, harder notes need to be reach with little to some struggle thus not sounding as free or nature. Since her solo debut it’s a different story tho, she’s an amazing singer no doubt, even if I-am very bias when it come Taeyeon :)

They were in her range- she just had a bit of trouble staying in tune. With some years of training, she started getting the power and stability needed.

Its also cus she was straining her voice from all the high pitches without any break during the years when snsd was at peak...I think yuri said they had like five days in the year when they werent working

She is already stable and nailed it since debut but she got to dance so she might be tired at some point and she gotta do the highnote, nowadays group main vocals cant relate do as great as taeyeon

@@jonathanman8299 she still sing and dance till now but with more controlled and stable vocals, and that's what I want to point out. And I know they are a thousand times better in recordings because they are in their comfortable spaces and not dancing.

That’s a good question because I bet it gets tiring to sing those notes every day while promoting or on tour, and also it’d be tiring to have that expectation to out-do her last song vocally. It takes a lot of work to develop her voice the way she has, and not many people can or even want to put in all that effort so I think she does like to. It’s obvious she loves singing which is one of the main reasons why I love listening to her, so I bet it’s safe to assume she likes belting. It’s also really satisfying to pull off a belt or good high note personally so I’m sure she feels the same.

@@KcKc13 She actually prefers songs without belts, like 4 season, something new, heck almost all her new songs dont have that big belt like I, Fine, or UR. But interestingly, she recorded UR in one take. And she said UR is her 'homework' song for practice 🤣🤣 and she cried on that one concert when she failed to hit UR high notes.
