Awe, pink is totally her color! I really love this outfit on her! I think you are in such good company with how many dolls you brought home and then feeling guilty after realizing how much you had invested in them. It's so natural to want to experience all that's out there and it's truly the best way to see lots of art in this hobby! I did the very same thing early in this hobby. My preference will always be silicone as well......that's where the realism is at if that's what you're seeking. It will be the closest you will get to a living baby which I love! I so understand everything you have shared! Oh geez, I've gotten the occasional ugly comment about Monroe too.......but no matter what, I love my baby and other people's opinions of her have no affect on me. I have learned not to take it personal now, although it certainly hurt my feelings at first! Sophie is gorgeous and I think I will always prefer a CT baby to any other out there! I think, what you have gone through as a collector is totally normal, when we reach the slower more settled phase, it’s less exciting sometimes but certainly more peaceful .. I also think “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!” We could visit a maternity ward and view 50 real babies, and there will be a huge diversity of head shapes, puffy eyes, all kinds of marks bruises and scratches.. and each mother thinks their baby is PERFECT! Just as they are! Not picture perfect or Dolly perfect, but unique individual and meant for them 🤗 I think your Sophie looks absolutely PERFECT Right there 🤗🤗🤗👼

Sophie looks so cute. My collection says I’m an old lady with a fixed income, but I still manage to find dolls I like on a limited budget.
