@@solus1746 You are right but they don't wanna hear it. Women have so many privileges that men do not have but men don't constantly complain about shit. Men also commit more suicide because there's way more pressure on men in life. Taylor Swift is one of the most popular artists in the last couple decades yet tries to say that if she were a men she either 1) would be even more popular or 2) would have to work less hard to get as popular. So every guy who is at her popularity level doesn't work as hard as her? Lets be honest, this kind of topic is ignorant. Comparing men and women is stupid as fuck. She's basically saying every critique she gets is stupid and only happens 'cause she's a woman. Why doesn't it happen to many other female artists near her status?

@@MalphasMikaelson y’all are completely missing the point. I’m not a woman but I can 100% agree that men always have the upper hand and it’s much easier for them to succeed vs a woman. Women have to work twice as hard to be taken seriously. If Taylor releases a love song, she’s seen as “petty” or a “whore” because she dated x amount of men. Meanwhile if a man does the same thing he’s a “womanizer” and doesn’t get any backlash. Where’s the same energy for Kanye when he and Kim were caught lying about the whole lyric debacle from a few years ago on his song “famous”. Also women typically even get paid less than men for the same jobs and many are harassed sexually at their workplace too. Do some research before making ignorant opinions.

@MalphasMikaelson
@MalphasMikaelson 2 жыл бұрын
Anyone who actually watches the sport knows that what Serena did has never been done by anybody else. First she got a coaching warning, this happens rarely but it does happen and the coach even admitted that he did it. She started telling the umpire to apologize to her and that she's a mother and all kind of irrelevant shit. Then she broke a racket which everybody on tour gets a warning for in the sport. And then third she was on the chair ranting at the umpire for a really long time, he let it go, did not do anything to her, just let her rant and scream for awhile. She told him not to speak to her. So he did, he shut up and just looked forward and then she again went in at him calling him a "thief" and that's when she lost a game. All of these were fair and her behavior was horrible and worse than we've ever seen. Yes, worse than McEnroe. McEnroe might have said some bad words to umpires in his day and he got plenty of punishment over that but never in a Slam, especially in a final did he just consistently attack the umpire and demand an apology. And obviously he can't use the "mother" card.

So no, men do not get away with it. Why are you saying this when you don't even watch the sport? And then idiot women upvote your comment like you have any clue what you are talking about?

The point in the old guy marrying the young girl is kinda complex. Yes, older women do marry young guys, but the woman is labeled a “cougar” like it’s weird. When a young girl marries an older man, again the attention and judgment is placed on the woman, calling her a gold digger. It’s literally never about the man in the situation! Either scenario, the woman is the one who is weird or wrong lol. Society is so screwed up. Thank you guys for everything you said; definitely earned a new subscriber in me! 💜

The old guy marrying the young girl is about how society judges the scenario if it was vice versa (old lady marring a younger guy). It shows not much judgement is passed around if an old guy marries an young girl. But if an old lady marries an younger guy then people have lots to say about that.

I think with the wedding scene she was also saying that for a man there’s no age cut off in society of he can be with. It’s still looked down upon if a woman is a with a guy only like 5 years younger than her let alone 50 years younger. Women are seen as undesirable as they get older but men are more desired as they grow older. It would have been nicer if you really dissected the lyrics too, the verses are very deep. When it comes to Taylor lyrics are everything. but I’m glad you understood and commented on the concept and the video.

The guy who made her a Zombie in Look What You Made Me Do made her "The Man" in this. And good catch when she was peeing on the wall. It's on reference to her masters behind bought by Scooter Braun. If your watch again you'll see the small sign that had a pic of a scooter with a line thru it=No Scooters allowed! She's a genius. And you probably didn't catch it but in the end credits it says "Owned by Taylor Swift" which is a huge thing, as this is from the Lover album which is the first album that she owns and won't have to re-record!

@@cmcm4204 If a man, probably in contact with feminism, had become sufficiently aware of the social model in which he has been brought up and of his role in the patriarchal system; if after consciousness he had delved into feminist theory; if after deepening he had carried out a constant introspective and corrective exercise of uprooting those patterned and recurring ways of thinking, feeling and acting on women; and if he also applied active egalitarian action routines in his habitual behavior ... if all these conditionals were given, perhaps we would have a man who is approaching "being" in feminism. However, being fully into feminism requires still something more. That something else that it requires, for men, is to adhere, to join the leadership exercised by feminist women. Then he will "be" in feminism, he will militate in feminism, but in my view, he will not "become" a feminist. And it should aspire to be so only in a finalist sense, that is, in the certainty that becoming so would entail that the patriarchal society would have been denatured and that being a feminist would be a quality of the social system itself and not of its individuals.

i love the bridge part esp. 'what's it like to brag about, reeking in dollars and getting bitches and models, and it's all good if you're bad and it's okay if you're mad" "if I was like, flashing my dollars, I'd be a bitch not a baller, they paint me out to be bad so it's okay that I'm mad" she said her concept for this song is if she did everything that she did in the past but if she were a 'man' ( like her dating history) ( her being a smart business woman in the music industry , she said in an. interview before, if a man makes a smart business move that's called ' strategic' but in her case its called 'too calculated' ) of course the video is a bit exaggerated that's why its funny but still there's some truth to this esp to those who call themselves the Alpha Male. :) Some people miss the point of the video when it was released being too defensive about it, saying she's generalizing men. But that's not the point, glad you understood .

The yacht scene was a Wolf of Wall Street reference with Leonardo DiCaprio, because every woman that Leonardo DiCaprio date, he breaks up with by the age of 25. Hints her saying “I’d be just like Leo in Saint-Tropez.” And then the scene with the hands in the hallway is basically saying that, after a man hooks up with a woman or a one night stand, he gets praised by it by his peers And the woman is just left there sleeping in the bed.

The lyrics of this song directly relate to her life. She’s not comparing, because it’s all true. she’s always in the media about how many people she’s dated. Even though she’s currently been with the same guy for over 4 years, people still see her as this serial dater. But no one questions any man who does the same. Hence the lyric “They'd say I played the field before I found someone to commit to And that would be ok For me to do.” “They wouldn't shake their heads and question how much of this I deserve” makes me think of when Kanye got up on stage and said she didn’t deserve the award, Beyoncé did. And he then he went on to say he made her famous (in the song famous). Like she owes him something for humiliating her. The lyric “When everyone believes ya What's that like?” Reminds me of when Kanye spread the lie that she had given him permission for him to call her a B*tch in his song. When I’m reality, he never even mentioned it to her. Everyone believe him and she literally went MIA for a year after that.

For the most part I found you both very respectful through this, I appreciate instead of getting constantly defensive you were understanding, the only things I wanted to comment on was the wedding saying it’s on the woman not the man, that the whole point though that when a man marries a younger woman, the woman is a gold digger and only in it for the money and the man gets props for landing himself a younger woman and a “hot piece of ass” but it’s very much.. kind of allowed for a man to do that. But when a woman marries a younger man, once again, the woman is labelled as a cougar and she’s berated and not respected in the same way because suddenly it’s gross for an older woman to marry a young man, the man isn’t called a gold digger. It’s about the double standard. The other thing is she’s not saying all men are pissing on walls and acting like that on the train, not at all. She’s displaying the power imbalance again. If you saw a guy pissing out in public you’d probably think okay there’s no toilet around but if you saw a girl popping a squat you’d just say that’s nasty. She’s over-dramatising almost every action on purpose to get across a point.

The peeing on the wall there was a sign of a scooter and a line through it for scooter Braun who stole her music and another sign saying if found return to Taylor Swift which is why the names of all her album titles were spray painted on the wall

idk if it's worth a reaction video but the behind the scene of The Man music video is hilarious. Taylor did wear a whole body makeover, possibly even p*nis but she was like, "i don't even wanna talk about it". She also had someone taught her men's mannerism (walking, crotch grabbing, etc). Anyway I'm sure you guys already noticed this but she was just playing out some of the most extreme things done by misogynistic men (not men in general). We all know a lot of male artists who are a**holes in the industry but somehow stay relevant, while female artists got branded negatively and buried away.

If in this video there were women instead of men, the comments of men won't be that positive, they will feel attacked and overreact to it, and just Denny the struggles of opposite gender and deny their own privileges. they will be like these women always like to play victimhood, "not all men"and men also go through some struggles and much more. but When men talk about sexism, they are heard more, taken more seriously and positive, this is also a double standard in the society. Women are instantly being choked ( by men) for acknowledging Thier struggles and facts like that. when Tylor was herself talking about sexism she faces in interviews, but the comments of (people especially men) were in denial of what she got to say, they would go for any possibilities to give logics to prove her wrong, but when two men are appreciating her points in a song, then the reaction is opposite by men, they actually try to understand it, I am surprised 🙀 I know may be I am going to be chocked by....., for stating that, that what happens.

I’m a swiftly, I like almost everything she puts out. Not feeling the message of this one..My thought on it is this: Acting like your life would be easier if you were “X” or if you had “Y” or if you did “Z” way back when, it is a bad way to look at life. Focus on what you have control over. Your mind, your outlook, your thoughts and emotions. That’s the only thing you can ultimately control. Blaming society, or worrying about your past and future is pointless. It will not help anyone in their pursuit of happiness. We are far more similar than we are different. We are all just blips of existence, it comes and goes very fast. Embrace it regardless of what life throws at you, face it head on. How you perceive life events and situations is completely in your control. Changing the event very rarely is. Although with the right outlook, you can change your situation. At least in the United States. Life is not easy or hard as a fact. Life is what you perceive it to be. Regardless of circumstances it is a gift. Maybe life is very unfair, but what is fair exactly? Across how many variables do you balance things? I’m all for doing what we can to lift people up, help people get where they want to go, help them get the tools they need. We just need to do it in such a way where we are not detesting or detracting from those who are already at the destination. They should be emulated and admired..if that’s what you want..if you think you want the life they have.

But every single woman feels this way. We can't confidently do things as much men can and it makes us wonder what would our life would have been if we were men and it's actually the harsh truth of ours.
@trackingthealgorithm221
@trackingthealgorithm221 2 жыл бұрын
@@saakshishetty7786 your missing the point, your not men, and men are not “men”. Everyone is prescribed their own circumstances. Sure you could be a woman in Afghanistan. Genuinely oppressed in totality. Or, you could be Taylor swift, or Hillary Clinton, AOC, Beyoncé knolls, or one of the many queens who ruled empires throughout history. But you cannot be any of them, nor can you be any man in existence. You can be you. You just need to know who you are, what you stand for, and what’s important to you. I get that there are sexist people who look at woman as lesser. That’s their own problem. It does them no good in life and probably harms them more than they may ever know. But you don’t have to take those experiences and let them dictate your outlook. That will do you no good. That’s what I am trying to get across. Be you and do it well. Don’t worry about what someone else has that you don’t. Don’t worry about what some guy or any person says or does. You are not them, you don’t know what’s going on in their minds and their life. Nor can you control what’s in their minds or going on in their life. BUT…you can control what goes on in your mind, and when you can do that at a master level you will be able to affect real positive change in your life.

Thinking positive won't get me equal medical care with a man because medications and medical care including tests are are tailormade for men. Political activism can get me that but then you need to know about these things and have the will to change things.
