looks great but its criminaly underrepresented online, nobody seems to give a fck about it for some reason. The views on the handful of videos are abysmal even on the bigger outlets the views tank hard. Im afraid it will under perform and see only greater fame later when the people realize its a good game, kinda like persona 5

I want to say so as well, but I don’t think the gaming community as a whole would allow a game like this so win goty, simply because it’s a sort of niche a lot of people don’t wanna try unfortunately😔

Hmm it seema great, but i'll hold on on judgements until it comes out. All these people calling this GOTY are the problem with this industry. Idc how good it looks, a game is only ever good if you enjoy playing it. Just chill, let the developers cook and we'll see.

I might have missed something but i did mean to ask, since any party member can equip any of the archetypes does the party members themselves actually have anything unique or are they just skins

My pleasure! I liked Persona but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t hype for a persona style game not in high school. I vaguely remember seeing the new trails game is going to have a similar fast & squad battle mechanic.

@TagTheLegend you see I don't know why i couldn't get into persona because imma huge fan of rpgs. I might give it another go at some point. Yeah trails series just adopted the style a couple years back or so. If you're a fan of rpgs I reccomend trying it out. Feels like you're playing an anime.

Really love the game that has mmo like classes....really love tank taunting ability so glad the game has tank classes....love hsr but the game only has aggro stat instead of proper taunt ability which guarantee a taunt.

I wonder why they excluded taunts in HSR. Curious if it would have broke another mechanic in the game.

i think you meant persona 3 not 5 right? cuz the elements are identical to p3. cut, pierce, bash, then the main 4 elements plus light and dark. also the game is definitely not having 40 different classes, thats just way too much. the amount of grinding you would need to do to max them all out to 20 would be ridiculous. it looks like it works like ff games, and those usually have 12-28ish classes. i do think the archetypes evolve. which accounting for each “node tree” that equals 13 archetypes in all i believe. theres also the chance it just unlocks more passive abilities for that specific archetype. which is how job systems usually work in games with them, which allows you to mix and match those passives to create interesting dynamics. i find this way more likely than building up the archetype but it could also be a combination of both to add on, it looks like ranking up the “social links” of the game actually gives more of those nodes

That would make sense if they did it that way. Then you could sell it as a bunch of different classes but in actuality it’s a few that build on to the last one.

Etrian Odyssey has cut, pierce, and bash already in every game so I doubt it’s just referencing P3. Also why would you max out every single class? Just pick the ones you like and use them.

@@JohnGaming55 I am going to think you need to dedicate yourself to a class path or two rather than constantly discarding your personas. Or maybe all the archetypes level up relatively quickly and constantly changing your archetype party makeup will be key to winning battles like SMT.

I'm excited for this game I'm not a Persona fan because the whole school thing after a while started to piss me off. I like to get to straight to combat like the FF games and this looks like it's gonna do just that.
