1999 two door Tahoe 4x4 hill climbing at Butcher Jones recreational park in AZ.

It doesn't look too bad in video, but Butcher Jones is no joke and viewers who have never off roaded in this part of AZ don't realize the surface (traction) situation...fluffy clay powder mixed with sand on top of pea gravel, on a grade. It can be a traction nightmare. Good job.

Been out there many times, I have the EXACT same setup on my 95 2 Door. Love the 2 doors.

I will attest that it is steeper than it looks. About 20-22 degrees and in places a bit more. My 2018 ZR2 could just walk right up it, but with front and rear lockers, things are made to look easy. I played in that area a lot. Tons of fun.

Agree butcher Jones is home of steep lose dirt hills rocks sand and hard earth only the skilled get through it

Is it lifted? What size tires?

1.5" block and torsion keys to level front. 33x12.50 on a 15x10. Besides that, completely stock 215K.

Three things: 1. Steeper than it looks on video, 2. If i broke out there I'd be totally F'D, 3. You're right, 4 HI and throttle would've worked but I was really just testing the waters out there.

Gotta take it easy out there there ain't nothing around for miles butcher Jones is the biggest off road recreation area that terrain ain't no joke dirt is loose and rocky lots of ruts
