In this video Paul and Chris hunt Tahr for 7 days high in the Southern Alps of New Zealand's South Island. Many animals are seen and 2 trophy bull tahr are shot and recovered along with several meat animals. Paul and Chris share their experiences and some great tips on both hunting and camping in the southern alps in winter. This was a great trip with many highs, lows, challenges and lessons learnt. It is a great watch.

Awesome stuff mate, you've got a great demeanor for this "field style" podcast, as well as you articulate your experiences in a manner that all ages can interpret, really enjoyed it! Fantastic trophy bull tahrs taken, loads of age to both of them which is the true trophy. That old nannie was cracking me up, she would have raised plenty of the bulls around that area. Mate really enjoyed that vid! I’m hanging for my next Tahr trip chased the big guys June last year shot my first Bull but couldn’t recover him buffed out, gave it my best go but she gets dicey quick. Looking forward to more awesome content mate!

Wow ... doing the Department of Conservation's 'wet work' for them. Are you serious? They'd exterminate all the Tahr tomorrow given half the change. Very disappointing.
