Speed and Power versus Skill and Deception. Both played well. I loved how Marin gave bitter fight. But TTY's skills are unmatchable.

Excellent play by tai & Carolina, but finally Tai played extordinary finishings.

CM, a very good player, fast, is a real hardhitter with enough style. But she is really annoying. For me it is okay to scream sometimes when you just could reach the shuttlecock and used a lot of effort to get it or even when you made a nice point. But not all the time. Specially not when your opponents make a (or an unforced) mistake, that is disgraceful and without respect. That is not (always) your win, just the opponents lose, nothing to yell or being proud of. Also, you do not have to hand over the shuttlecock but you can put it a bit closer to your opponent. Also very unsportsmanlike. She could be high on my list of good players but being on a list of good players means not only play well/good but also be a good person in sportsmanship. Just my 2 cents.

TTY,despite being short by stature, pulled-off a great win over Marin through hardwork & cleverness/guile. one has to notice that TTY doesnt have a powerful smash that is even closer to top ranks like Marin, Sindhu & Saina Nehwal etc

Brilliant and ingenious play by Tai. Marin could have won the game after 17-13 but she squandered her lead as Tai began to dictate the flow of the game. Tai shows great mental resilience and even became creative under pressure. When she levelled at 19-19, Marin seem upset and began to attack wildly while being played right into Tai patient but strategically placed shots. Tai could win when she wanted to, that's the message from this game. She went in to win many tournements after this one while Marin silently slipped into a long silence due to injuries. Mist likely she will be unable to return to her previous best form again.

COACH should teach her how to behave in the court before how to play.. rush to pick the shuttle after winning each point looks more cheap activity. if you notice after losing the game how she throws the shuttle... in front of Marin even any loser looks great! TTY female version of LCW.. GREAT

You can obviously see that tai started hitting on the backhand side of Marin in the second half of the last match. And marin started to loose points. Great observation bay tai

CM is Sharapova of Badminton. If her yelling could get her fired up ajd get going then so be it, it's her style though a bit annoyingnsometime. She's a good player, in fact one of the very best today. Personally I believe she's charming and a likeable person. TTY is exceptional in almost everything, humble yet very determined and there's no wonder why she's still the best. Perhaps CM could learn and make herself adorable if she could charm the audience with her skill and improved attitude on court. The only sportsman I didn't like in my entire life has been the Australian John McEnroe, a real trouble to watch and of course a very unsportsman behaviour although he was one of the best during his time. Watching him losts his games has been a great entertainment to me, but I couldn't say so for CM because I think she's charming and have a very likeable personality out of court. As for TTY she will always be the queen not just in the court but also the 'queen of heart' to most Badminton lovers all over.

It is long time that CM is not seen in the court, I think I am even starting missing her. After 2min watching this video, I believe it will be better for me not seeing her.🤣

I dont understand why does she feel that she need to scream all the time... We spectators understand if u as a player wants to scream in order to gain more inspiration, but not all the time.. It's a little bit annoying.. The umpire should reprimand her. .. Luckily tai tzui ying focus not interrupted at all... Anyways, i love watching any matches between marin and tty.. And also any matches between chen yu fei and tty.. The 3 of them are good players.. 👍👍👍
