The deception wrong stating it for pillows when it cushions. Pillows are for sleeping your head on. And cushions are to look pretty or sit comfortably on sofa.

In United States , that is not true. We use the word "pillow" for decorative items as well, and "cushion" is usually reserved for the seat and back of chairs, sofas, etc.

What you are referring to as cushions is also pillows where I come from. What you sit on is a cushion. Items are not always called the same in all counties.
