Bairnt, you and Colin are my two favorite guys teaching these games online. I just got the new KS and did the first quest, but not 100% sure I did it right. My guys are nearly dead. TY for this... oh ya.. I failed the prelude the first time :)

Thanks for showing off the tutorial. One little remark about the discard at 54:20 . As far as I understand, you are not allowed to choose to discard yourself, but it would trigger if another effect would remove the card (for example the encounter card).

Oh I would like to watch this but I won't cause I'll still have to wait some further months to get the German version... No sense in learning the game now, I'll watch it later 😁 Hope you'll keep on doing your KDM series as well! 👍

defenatly regret A LOT, that i didn't choose the "sunburn" version of those figs ! They're looking awesome just even with only that sunburn painting on it ! I wish i could change that before my "French version" arrive at my door :( not sure i will like that game as much as i think, but the componants looks awesome !

Great video! I have one question: What do you guys think about playing other characters (from other stories) with the core box story? I know at page 22 in the rulebook "free play" it says you can and I would like to not be restricted as of what characters to play. ex: I want to play the core box story with Thebalt a character from age of knights campaign. What do you guys think would it be viable?

We only played the base game, so I can’t say for sure from experience. It would probably work well. The only concern is that there are narrative events that correspond to certain characters, so you would miss those narrative moments. But there aren’t a ton of those, so it shouldn’t be a big deal.

So in combad diplomacy if card says instantly spend energy to have smth and your out of energy ( like you were out of rep) you dont do the card ability or you lose health?

that's a great question. I' m not quite sure. I would think that is the case, If you cant do what it says then I don't think it will happen. If I am wrong please let me know. Thanks for watching😀😀👍

At 11:03 you ticked the Menhir dial the wrong direction. Seems a lot of people are having issues reading the dials.

Yeah it is a little tricky. Bounce I get the hang of it, it should be ok. The concept is sweet dial in giant miniature but a 8 sided die might be easier. Thanks for watching 😃😃👍

Sadly no. It is setup for Beor and him alone. It is really a way to visualize the rule book. It teaches well, but the rules book still needs to be read to fully understand all the intricacies. I will say the game is easy to understand and learn. Thanks for watching 😃😃👍
