This is basically what I was hoping Avowed would be like. This dark fantasy vibe is so good

Right off the bat the minimal HUD and 30$ price point combined with graphics that go beyond that price point gets me pumped!!

This game went on a Steam Sale within an hour of this video uploading. It's 22.49 now, thru June 3rd.

The Elders Scrolls vibe

As someone who would consider themselves a hardcore open world RPG player, this looks interesting but definitely needs lots of polish especially in with the UI and animations. I hope this game has some interesting lore for fans to sink their teeth into, that to me is the most underrated way to keep a fan base for the inevitable sequel should this do well enough.

Really glad you played this game. Yes its sometimes feel clunky and there are some bugs, but its early access so they will improve. The most important thing for me, it has great atmosphere, and this game has a soul (i know corny).

Already a game I know, it does have a way to go but the potential is certainly there. May load it up for the new update. Would like to say, many people are pointing out similarities to The Elder Scrolls, but there is certainly some Dark Souls DNA there as well.

I was hoping this game would capture that early-2000s RPG vibe with a fresh coat of paint and it is exactly like that. I have about 20 hours into it so far, and I had a blast learning the lore of the universe. Feels like playing TES Oblivion for the first time again. Hopefully they add more side quests and enemies in the full version. Big recommend with the Steam sale right now.

I've been following this game and cant wait rill ot comes to the ps5 especially because i loved Skyrim's leveling,which was rhe more you use it better you'll be. Plus i love the gritty dark vibes and the great freedom of choice available.

What do you think the final open-world size will be? Will it Dragon’s Dogma 1 or 2 sized per chance?

Starting off as a Prisoner in the Asylum, it does look like a mix of Skyrim and Dark Souls. Pretty cool.

Looks like this would scratch my Skyrim itch. Two questions: Is it moddable and what does Skyrim have that this doesn't?

I tried it this last fall but it crashed so often on my system I never made it out of the intro prison scene. I am talking crashes every 4-5 minutes. Once it’s stabilized I may try it again.

Hi Wolfheart, all of this looks really good but I am concerned about the "+ trivial %" talents en relics. A relic that grants 1% damage increase goes completely unnoticed gameplay wise. Same goes for 2% attack spead increase. I believe this has become a trope most RPG developers know to avoid these days. What's your take on this?

I am a hardcore TES fan and this game looks promising. It is on Unity Engine and I have never tried to make mods for that. While I am above the "recommended" specs with my PC some may want to check that. I7 13th gen. and an RTX 2070 Super is a bit demanding. That is for 60 fps and I assume 1080p. Will keep an eye on it.

Is this something you'll stream upon release? I still can't play first person...🥺

Been watching this one for awhile, glad to see its going good. I just can't buy Early Access games anymore, still hope this one makes it to full release.

I played early access to completion and enjoyed it. Nearly all you showed is new, clearly influenced by Elden Ring.

I really wish this game would get some success so we can have some competition with bethesda since they got really lazy with their products (just look at starfield). Also, love the dark theme of the game, we really need RPG's made for more mature audiences, they're simply more authentic and interesting. Definitely gonna buy and try it when it fully releases.

Played the boardgame! 70hours campaign of awesomness

this new version of the game is really better. It got me much more engaged. There still some hickups and i'm not peculiarly a fan of the new Fast travel systeme. To explain a bit. In the Lore of the Game you have a Magical Mist that covers the Island at night, wich breeds monsters and can alter the mind and body of humans in contact with it. Now when you level up you can use your skill and atributes points Only when you rest at a camp fire, either a camp fire that is in the world( wich are showed on your compass UI) or you can put down a camp yourself. The campfire allows you to cook, rest and pass the hours ('ala TES) and level up. BUT doing so at night if you rest, there are high chances that you'll be attacked by random monsters. NOw monsters at night, not all of them but some, can get stronger and drop unidentified items and a reagent called Wyrd cobwebs or sumthing (i forgot) THE ISSUE, is that you can use 25 of these webs to activate a magical barrier at camp to be protected of the monsters, ok, neat. BUT, and thats the real puppy kicker here imho, its that each Unidentified items require you to spend 10 of these webs for each item. Issue is that you need 25 to activate the magical firecamp BEFORE getting the Identifying menu... OTHER ISSUE, is that NOT all Night monsters drop those, and when they do its usually 5 at a time, now maybe its just, me, i've been unlucky, cause after i first activated the fire camp the 1st time, NONE OF THE NIGTH MONSTERS AS EVER DROPPED THE WEBS AGAIN. Maybe its a bug, since it is still EA and a beta game, so its understandable... BUT the OTHER OTHER nut cracker..., is that you NEED to activate the magical fire, to be allowed to fast travel... So now i have to slog ALL over the island whenever i need to go to an NPC for a quest, since i can't fast travel , since i can't get any of these darn webs... And i sit on 12 unidentified items... They really need to seperate the fast travel systeme from the Camp fire thing, and allow us to go and find and NPC that will identify items for gold or something... OT make sure that these monsters drop MORE of these Webs... Outside of that, i'd recommand this game, if you like SKyrim/Oblivion etc, then its the game for you.

This game has finally somewhat decent performance i stay above 60 fps like 65 to 80 with i9 13900h 4070 140w laptop. My 7800xt desktop had that already but performance was worse and got allot better. also changed all looks on NPCs

I'm afraid to play it for fear of a major update cancelling my savegame.

This game looks good but I can tell the game looks underrated on Steam. I would pick it up but I have a tendency to play an EA game a lot then when it fully releases I won't find myself coming back to it and for an RPG like game - there's just no point.

Without a 3rd person view I will sadly ship this game.

The dated character models and textures (especially compared to the nice terrain and object detail) are holding me back from buying into Early Access... Maybe they'll upgrade some things before release, but a game like Solasta never did, so I remain dubious.

The game is very dark, and I was surprised to see they didn't shy away from a bit of perversion and nudity either, which was refreshing to see in this current era. It reminded me of good old fashioned fantasy games like Daggerfall or Dragon Age Origins. The story had some very surprising twists, there were some places that really stuck with me and gave me the creeps - like the mines. It's Elder Scrolls meets Lovecraftian horror. I really enjoyed my time in the game and I wish them success.

The game feels slow to respond and like you're moving in a bog with magic animations look pretty basic too not much in the way of style kinda like my want for the game also the fps only is kinda wack for me im a fashion souls player i like the vanity in game i will grind for that cool looking gear and be happy... nothing looked really cool fashion wise Sword combat looks fun seems like the most polished animated part Hope this game succeedes though i like a lot of ideas here

Elder Scrolls 6 before ES6, but 1st person only so Im out. Sincerely hope they do well though.
