Taiwan Tang Shou Dao

Күн бұрынThis is a compilation clip of the last remaining Tang Shou Dao school in Taiwan. Tang Shou Dao was a martial arts system put together by the famous Taiwan teacher Hong Yi-xiang and then popularized by Hsu Hong-chi. The clip features forms training and fight clips from TSD's annual full-contact competition.

if you mean that XYQ is just a peaceful loving art you are wrong, all are MARTIAL first, the ART came later. It's ok to do the second one, but it is not the original reason for these systems.

TST has a lot of descendants in the U.S., though many have cross-trained in other lineages and might not teach exactly as they learned from Hsu Hong Chi or whoever. Vince Black, Mike Patterson, James McNeill, Tim Cartmell Allen Pittman, and Tom Bisio all come to mind as active teachers who have training in the TST lineage. Luo Dexiu has a number of students teaching as well, and he's a Hong Yi-Xiang disciple.
