I'm not sure where in Taiwan you guys are but one thing is for sure, you're only at the most, a 30-minute plane ride to the Batanes group of islands in the Philippines. Batanes is the Northernmost part of the Philippines and where my parents came from. Back in 2007, we were visiting Batanes from the US and they had a regular flight to and from Taiwan to Batanes. While we were there and staying at Batanes Resort, a group of Taiwanese also stayed at the resort. I was told by relatives that Taiwanese are regular visitors to the islands. Oh well, have fun dude...
