We present you our report from this trip in a nutshell. We were enchanted by this country, people, architecture, the richness of nature, magnificent elephants, unruly monkeys, mountains and rice fields, night markets, noisy and quiet provincial cities and birds singing and the climate and people and wonderful dishes and fruits so sweet and ripe that we will not taste in Poland.
What will you see?
1. Busy, full of contrasts, bustling Bangkok. Full of wonders of modern and historical architecture.
2. Temples with a unique architectural style. Full of decorations, lace finishes, the shine of gold.
3. The life of Thais in different regions of beautiful Thailand.
4. Amazing landscapes, rice fields, banana trees, palm trees, fabulously colorful shrubs, flowering trees.
5. In Bangkok, you will be amazed by visiting the historical seat of kings - the royal palace and the heart of Thailand - the Temple of the Emerald Buddha.
6. You will visit the Golden Buddha Temple towering over the city and listen to the sound of bells at the temple.
7. In Chiang Mai, you can feed elephants with bamboo, sugar cane and boilies.
8. You will see the historic capital of Thailand - Ayutthaya. Where you will admire the 14th - 17th century remains of 2000 gilded temples and the ruins of the palace.
9. You will see the monkeys that have taken over the Temple of the Three Arrows in Lopburi and you will laugh at their frolics.
10. In Bangkok, you will see a statue of a reclining Buddha measuring 46 m in length in the Temple of the Reclining Buddha.
11. You will sail on a wooden boat on the Sakae Krang River and admire the raft-built houses moored to the shore and the lives of their inhabitants.
12. In Ayutthaya, at the Wat Maha That temple, you will see the head of Buddha entwined with the roots of a fig tree.
13. You will taste delicious Thai dishes and local drinks as well as local beer along the route.
14. You will see the first capital of the kingdom of Siam in the Sukhothai Archaeological Park from the thirteenth century. There will also be ruins of the royal palace, numerous temples and statues.
15. You will see the Si Satchanalai Historical Park on the banks of the Yom River, where numerous temples and defensive walls have been preserved, as well as the elephant temple - Wat Chang Lom.
16. You will experience an unforgettable journey on the Mae Tang River, followed by a bamboo rafting trip. hill 1200 m. e.g. p. m. - Wat Phra That Doi Suthep.
18. You will visit ethnic groups that came to northern Thailand from China, Myanmar, Laos, and Tibet. You will sail on speedboats on the Kok River.
19. You will get to know the Lahu tribe in Thathai Village and see them dancing and playing.
20. Pick-up trucks will take you to Yao village to the Akha tribe.
21. You will reach the Long Necks tribe and see what canons of beauty apply to this ethnic group

The 33rd "Journey to the Land of Smiles" with Ithaca was unique because it was an interesting program, beautiful Thailand, a great flight, but above all great guides Hubert and Paulinka. They created a unique atmosphere, passed on knowledge not only from the textbook, they took care of us and cared for each participant. . We thank these treasures of knowledge and wonderful people from the bottom of our hearts.
