To be honest, I prefer both figures separately. The combined mode, while it looks ok, is a complete nightmare to stand. I also think the plastic quality is lower than hasbro's quality (lots of thin panels and stress marks showing up due to transformation). I know there are upgrade kits that address some of these issues, but for the price of this set, we shouldn't have to buy extra parts in order to get the thing to stand up. Definite mixed feelings for this set.

I can't help but hope we get a godbomber in Legacy as a Weaponizer. The chestplate would probably not fit on most figures (as they'd lack 5mm ports for it) but they could use it as a big riot shield, while a future Powermaster Optimus could have the ports

Just a thought, with the new feet for god ginrai having the combiner ports, could you use some combiner components as the world's weirdest and oversized heel spurs?

I just had an idea, take any main component of a transformers combiner from combiner wars, take God bombers robot legs, And attach them as feet for the combined mode if you don’t have any of the other combatacons or stuntacons.

Too bad power master Optimus prime didn’t use God bomber in trailer mode with the weapons, because that would’ve been a really cool vehicle mode finisher attack against Megatron.

At toy fair of this year, hasbro had an American version of ginrai on display next to powermaster prime. I believe it will release in the fall. So, I wouldn't be surprised if Gob Bomber is out for summer or fall of 2018.

I have the original mold reissued by Takara in 2002, but unfortunately everything on it and Ginrai are locked. The plastic and pins and everything are frozen because it’s been sitting god knows where in someone’s attic probably for years. I tried to transform it and it shattered in my hands. I had to super glue some parts and I’m really sad because I was looking forward to playing with it but I can’t without it breaking.

I guess I dodged a bullet twice. Legends Super Ginrai is too expensive and the US release from BBTS sold out on pre-order. Godbomber just really doesn't look very good. Let's be honest, God Ginrai is what most of us wanted, not just a single PMOP. I think I'll probably just "settle" for the Maketoys Cross Dimensions version and call it a day.

The issue you have with the backpack is that the wings are "attached"(so to speak) to his upper-shoulders rather than on his back where they should be.

funniest thing i know about god bomber it wasn't supposed to have a robot mode it's a literal parts former it's robot mode (minus the head) are bits and pieces of ginrai's god bomber mode also the third's name is siren or go shooter aka shuta go yeah they really went there and i say minus the head cause god bomber wasn't supposed to (in show wise) have a head even the characters in the show were surprised when he first went robot mode (i've seen ever episode of master force)

So overall a huge mess, Takara-Tomy-Hasbro, making Transformers unbearably complicated since Michael Bay.
