Wish I knew about this when I was a latchkey kid, I could use the kitchen, and these would have been easy and impressive for when Mom came home from work..my brothers would have bugged me to make this too..

Great ideas! Too bad there’s so many people with negative comments that don’t seem to understand that these are exactly just that - IDEAS! You can customize the recipes to fit your own individual dietary lifestyle just by changing up a few basic ingredients nowadays....substitute low carb breads/wraps, lower/no fat versions, bake instead of fry(except for the fried ice cream of course!), vegetarian/vegan versions...etc. A little logic and niceness goes a long way.

You're absolutely right! Many ppl are just closed minded and set in their ways, and probably lack the innate ability to add a bit of imagination and creativity into their lives that they can't possibly fathom anything outside the notion that a sandwich is just 2 pieces of bread with something in the middle.

I make nutella blended with cream cheese then add either bananas or strawberries.. I use that as the stuffing for stuffed French toast then I make my own syrup with the strawberries or sometimes raspberrries. I sprinkle powdered sugar on top. I do this for my kids on special occasions and they feel so happy cuz they know It's a celebration when we have this for breakfast or even sometimes supper 😉😉😉 It's delicious!!

It doesn't seem viable to sell real no crust bread. Decrusting them and shipping without it crumbling on the sides seems difficult.

When I was a little girl, the Chinese restaurant was a treat - because they made me sandwich with no crust. That was my introduction to 'chinese' food. LOL When I got older the kind owner said I should try something different. I did. Still love Chinese food when made correctly. But never forgot my first Chinese BLT.

Lots of good ideas for a buffet. And a little healthier than puff pastry. 🤗 The sandwich cake was actually a great hit in the 1950s and 60s. In fact the swedes still make and sell them in high end bakery shops. They're called "Smörgåstårta"...
