UUnder the direction of chief conductor Michael Abene, the WDR BIG BAND will perform together with the successful vocal ensemble TAKE 6 at the 27th "Leverkusener Jazztage". Take 6" includes Claude McKnight, Mark Kibble, Joel Kibble, Dave Thomas, Alvin Chea and Roger Ryan. The musicians are known for their broad vocal spectrum, ranging from gospel and jazz to soul and pop. Ten Grammys and numerous other music awards speak for their great success story, which stretches from 1985 until today. Chief conductor Michael Abene arranged the pieces for the WDR Big Band.
