Recommendations
• Sit in a comfortable position. Place the measuring arm on a table or other support so that the cuff is at heart level.
• Relax for a few moments before the measurement. Remove tight clothing and place the cuff directly on the skin of your arm.
• Unless your doctor recommends otherwise, take the reading on your left arm. Do not speak during the measurement.
• Do not smoke or ingest caffeine at least 30 minutes before the measurement.
• This device bases its measurements on your heartbeat. If you have a weak or irregular heartbeat, your device may have difficulty determining your blood pressure.
• If the device detects a condition that is abnormal, the measurement will stop and display an error symbol.
• This device is designed for use only in adults. Talk to your doctor before using this device on a child. A child should not use this device alone.
• Always take your blood pressure at the same time each day.
• Do not cross your legs and keep your feet on the ground during measurement.
