Having filmed the last 15 to 20 mins of this episode on the last day of shooting, went a long way with the raw emotions. Those were real real tears. The scene with that laying and talking at the lake was the final scene that they filmed. I'm so happy I got to see this series. ❤💜

I know that's why it hit me so hard 😭 I truly wasn't expecting it to happen and when it did it was just... wow

I even ended up cutting a lot of footage of me breaking down, so that really tells you how much I cried 😭 I think beautiful stories will always touch people, no matter their age, gender, background, etc. That's the power of writing 🥺

@@mlee6050 I was trying not to binge them because I didn’t want it to be over quickly but then I started to see reactors coming on and wanted to watch them so I just went and finished the season. It was the absolute perfect ending and I’m so thankful that Young Royals gave us that ☺️

@lovemyshelf I haven't wanted to read any Wilmon fics the last few weeks because I was worried I'd come across fix-its, and personally, I don't think anything needs to be fixed about this season. But. I really, really want to read stories set immediately after and during the next 2 years of their school life. I think, as you said, at the end, Lisa left a lot of threads open. That was deliberate, I feel. She wants the fandom (so do the cast) to create Wilmon's story going forward. She wants the fandom to wrestle with the relationship dynamics of the leads and the futures of all the main characters. Edvin says that he's read fanfiction and enjoys how intelligent and creative the fandom is. Lisa herself being a tumblr girl from Drarry days, she's written YR for her fellow fanfic friends. She values it.

I rewatched the show with my mom and when I edit I'm bound to rewatch it lmao I also like to revisit scenes I really liked but other than that not really. Season 1 was different bc I was hyper fixating on it, so I must have watched it over 20 times lmao

I like your reactions because they are calm and thoughtful. Personally, I have some troubles with the end of this season. I hope that Wille realizes that renouncing the throne and apologizing to August are just some pieces in the puzzle to take responsibility for his own problems. I don't have Netflix, what I write now is based on watching reactions and clips on KZfaq. So I may missed something. I got the feeling that Wille did not realize how much Simon gave up for their relationship. I mean Simon is 16, if he would have decided that he can't be or doesn't want to be in a relationship with Wille after getting so much hate on the internet, a stone thrown through his window and as a result of that being told that he can't exist on the internet anymore, I would not have blamed him. And also not how hard Simon fought to make their relationship work. Like during the Lakescene Wille says to Simon: I thought it is us. For me, it was Simon who tried to make the us work. He came back to Wille after their argument during ep4 and he tried to talk to Wille over the Erik plot in ep5, while Wille was pushing him away, even telling Felice he can not talk to Simon because Simon won't understand. The same goes with -how can you be over me just like that- we all knew Simon was not over Wille, but if he had been, it wouldn't have been a just like that because Wille had behaved shitty towards Simon many times. I think some self-reflection would have been nice for Wille. With the added pressure, Wille became pretty self-centered again. I also didn't like that he didn't see Felice at all. Felice had been there for him after Simon broke up with him during season 2, and now she would have needed a friend. The other girls tried, at least. They just did not understand what Felice needed. Wille didn't see at all. Even Felice told Simon and Wille in ep1 how miserable she felt. And still, she was there for him every time Wille needed her in season 3. It would have been nice if Wille would have realized that. Now, renouncing the throne won't make Wille to an unknown person. There is still going to be public interest in his person, paparazzi may following him to get a nice story,.... In the beginning, it might be close to the situation in season 1, when Erik was still crown prince. We know that Wille had problems to bear the situation back than. And he needs to realize that he can not leash out on Simon every time the anxiety kicks in. Simon's situation won't change either. He might even get more hate because people are going to see him as the reason Wille renounced the throne, no matter that is not the case. He still needs to stay at least private on the internet, keep low with everything he does. So he needs Wille to be there for him and I just hope that Wille is able to be.

Sometimes in life you can't wait though. And Simon probably wanted to leave the palace so he had to tell him. There is no right timing for things like this. Wilhelm would have been crushed even if Simon broke up with him a few hours later.

I love Omar’s voice and like how the songs tie into the show, but like the new school song he wrote in s2, his revolution song, Wille’s song. Idk. They’re all just too slow paced and serious for me I guess lol. But I still cry during the scenes cuz of everything going on haha
