Thank you for this upload. To the people "over the pond", You had a national treasure in Don Estelle (LOFTY). I listen to him all the time and wish I could have seen him in person. I have seen Ray Price a number of times and he is a real gentleman. Dresses very classy for his shows and is a real professional. He really knows how to put over a song. His son Cliff has a great voice also,

I love to get over to see the time jumpers in Nashville on a thursday night , maybe some year I will take a two week holiday and get over to the US to see some real country music. Maybe Ill need a month to get around the distances HaHa !

Im very envious , I live in UK we dont get to see these great people .

Im forgetting about distances in the US, that its a long way to travel but its well worth it to see one of the greats.1000 miles over here is the length of the whole country from lands end in the south to John O groats at the top of Scotland! Marty Stuart came to England two years ago I only had to travel 60 miles to see him , the show was fantastic. Alison Krauss and union station have been over here and ive seen Kristofferson and Skaggs so yes we do see some superb country people over here .

Well even here in the US, it can be hard to "get" to where the great ones are, it'll be 1,040 mile drive to get to Stafford, TX and then of course the same amount back home. But well worth it. He can still sing at the young age of 86 so I'm hoping he keeps on for a lot longer.

He May have come over to the UK in the 70s to the Wembley country music festivals , most of the big stars came over for those festivals but they were only held for a few years.

I can't imagine that sometime in Ray Price's career he didn't go to the UK but I'd have to check on that, I'll ask his wife Janie on her Facebook page.

AND don't forget we drive on the other side of the road. LOL

Yes, getting around in the US can be quite a challenge at least in distances. But at least lots of wide open spaces in between the big cities and you can drive around most of them if you want to take a little extra time, I'm all about avoiding the big cities. from the extreme West corner of TX to the farthest East corner of TX, it's over 900 miles. And that's only one state! LOL

I try to find some of Ray's older stuff and upload a few every month. And believe me there are lots and lots still out there. I mostly only upload Ray's stuff but an occasional Marty Robbins also. If you subscribe to my channel You Tube will notify you when I upload something new. No junk mail or anything, they just let's you know the person has uploaded a new video or song. Plus when someone posts on my video, they tell me. Jeri

I posted a note to Janie, she doesn't respond quickly but if I get a reply I'll let you know. I also keep thinking he was over there but just couldn't say for sure.
