I'm an empty nester now so I don't decorate until December 15th then take it down New Years Day.

Usually I take down Christmas on the new year.

I usually decorate the first weekend of Advent, the Christmas tree gets put up the fourth week of Advent. I start taking down the decoration during the first week of the new year. The tree goes last on the evening of the 6th January.

I love the slogan! I've been slowly decluttering during the last two years. But I really wanna get going this year too! I want room and space (physically and in my head) for renovations and DIYs

We'll put decor up next week. I always enjoy this week after Christmas...it's quiet for us and the hustle bustle is over. We're in our 70's, so no need to hurry. You have a lovely family. Happy New Year!

We had to postpone our Christmas celebration because of illness, but will be together on Sunday. In past years packing Christmas decor always made me sad, but now that I decorate for winter and all other seasons, sadness is no longer a thing. Love how you worked together packing things away. I was excited to get all my Christmas decor in to one tote this year. I’ve been holding on to things I decorated with when the kids were younger but realise they didn’t miss them, so out they’ve gone. I thought my room looked so bare once the tree was put away, but within a couple of days, I’m loving the open space again.

Hello! I was soo excited when my phone notified me you posted a video! I had to force myself to finish what I was doing (paying quarterly taxes 🤮) before I rewarded myself with a video. Thanks for giving me something positive to look forward to after a yucky task! My goal is also to be clutter free in '23. Basement and attic, I'm coming for you! I'm super stoked about your weekly videos about decluttering - so inspiring! My favorite tradition at Christmas time is when we get together with my siblings and have fun. I'm from a musical and goofy family, so there's always plenty of guitars, singing Christmas songs and laughter. We've embraced music, ugly sweaters, laughter and time together as a way to celebrate, while never forgetting that our Savior's birth is the reason for the season. Born on that Day by Matt Maher and This is Christmas by Kutless are songs that have been playing on a loop in my head for weeks now! I am definitely going to try Italian sodas. My son will surely love them! I think the pillow is perfect and pretty💕 Happy New Year to you and your family Ali! See you in 2023! 🎆🎊🥳
