My young PPD trained by Haz was deployed in real life. No time to put e-collar on him. Flat collar already on, leashed him and out the door we went! Dog was balls to the walls against a guy with a baseball bat. That's a REALLY well trained dog working in the REAL world. Zero hesitation to act when required.

Every time I watch one of the Shield K9 videos I am more and more impressed with the Knowledge, support and skill of Haz. This is a QUALITY Breeder/Trainer I would not hesitate to recommend Shield K9 and Haz based on my visit to his kennel and research of same. I am not in a position at this time to bring a Dog into the home, however, I hope for that to change soon.

I started watching when I got a Dutch Shepherd cross via rescue, he is SO smart I wanted to make sure he was as well trained as I can make him. Had dogs my entire life, but hadn't really realized how much is involved in protection training. Finally clicked this week that it is all about controlled aggression -- and realized how much work you put into each dog. Kudos, and thanks for those of us who aren't doing protection, but good solid obedience.

You should go over how you handle other dogs (off leash or not) approaching your dog. As much as you may try to avoid the situation, it can still happen, curious to see how you handle it.

Hi, Quick question what is your e-collar setup for a malinois, on high distraction, my dog dont even react on the higest level on my mini educator ( i'm making good contact ) as I saw that on your videos you often used the yellow collar and sometimes 2 receiver can be that you can help me. Thanks for all ur vidéos really helped me

I use the 1900s dogtra. For all my high drive dogs. Even my lab will hit early 90s ans barely feel anything when in drive when hunting. I LOVE that collar and it’s PERFECT for high drive shepherds, bullies, and terriers.

@@manliketv3878 ah look who doesn’t understand e collars. In a high drive state the high number becomes the new working number. My lab will minimally react to the 90 but still feel it same way she would a 20 in a low distraction environment. Think before you speak or at least get some education

Thanks for the videos. I have a GSD, who is an outside dog. She has long periods of down time and the question is...is there a time limit on the "Break" command, as in hours? Or is this a short term command? I guess, should i use a different command for short and long term breaks? Thanks
