Shadows of the DAMNED Original Music From AKIRA YAMAOKA is a soundtrack album featuring music from Shadows of the DAMNED. It was released on Sept. 1, 2011, several months after the Shadows of the DAMNED Promotional Soundtrack. As with its predecessor, the album features British Gothic Rock band The Damned, who collaborated with Akira Yamaoka on the title theme. Additional vocals and lyrics were provided by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, Troy Baker and Joe Romersa. Only 1000 copies were printed.

I keep forgetting Akira does more music other than silent hill. Doesn't matter which game he is doing it for the track always turns out excellent.

The music was no surpirse that it was good as Akira Yamaoka himself did this (As said on the cover.) I liked the whole "Back counter" feature You know where if an enemy was behind you while you were aiming you could smack them and take up a better position. That was cool.

It's not a difficult song to play by ear, you just need a 7 string guitar in B Standard tuning. :)

Be careful tuning that low on a 6 string. Guitars need to be set up, and use heavier strings, for that kind of tuning. It's probably safer to just get a 7 string and you don't really need to break the bank to get one. Chances are if you tried to just tune that low with a regular setup, it'd be super loose and hard to keep in tune. :D

Yeah it's from a game called Shadows of The Damned. The music composer is Akira Yamaoka, he did the music for the Silent Hill games.
