Adam, this tune is so damn good. Ever since it's release, it's been steadily on burned cds, KZfaq and streaming apps for me. The Temple of Newsome version has been by far the most played version, phenomenal!

This is the song that started it all for me loved it as soon as i heard it. That first riff ive been trying and trying for years is it a pull offs it never sounded right. Maybe simple but trying to figure it out has been challenging. Just look at the covers on youtube none are 100% right

Thanks Adam. I’ve been thinking I’m going to try and learn this since seeing you live recently. The tab I found was wrong, so this is great stuff. I love how the use of the A drone note gives it an almost mystical vibe!

Great riff and a brilliant song Adam. These videos are great, really enjoying watching these and having a go myself. Unfortunately I've only got my Epiphone EJ200ce electro acoustic to play need to get hold of an electric with an amp now desperately haha.

Bit too quick for me this but ive just discovered you can slow the playback down which is very useful regarding picking it up but fuck me you sound hilarious when talking 😂😂 thanks a lot though this tune is the first I heard on mtv2 and that video was so amazing.

amazing riff! on the recording, do you use some kind of reverse delay or something? can't wait for the Temple Newsam gig. "The Last Dance" was so long ago!!
@adamnutterofficial2 жыл бұрын
Hi mate. It's an original Electro Harmonix micro synth. So it's almost like a swell effect that happens with the attack 👍👍
@daanromein54934 ай бұрын
Which effect is used that sort of sounds like a phaser/ reverse delay making like a 'bubbly' sound? Very audible at 01:50 in the song on the record? Would love to know :)

Cheers Adam, was hoping you would throw in the old skool outro too, was it load of hammer ons the B string, then a few more on the G? That was sick.

Are these all standard tuning Adam? Mental riff and tune 👍🏼👍🏼

Adam, have you got a preference for which one version of TTLRAWI that you prefer? My favourite was always the first version that had the black and white video. Out of interest, was it the bands decison to redo it or was that more guided by the label?
@adamnutterofficial4 жыл бұрын
I think everyone was in agreement we should re record it with Jim to fit with the rest of the record. I think it would have sounded odd with the demo version on the album
@alexclemence86854 жыл бұрын
@@adamnutterofficial I never thought of it as a demo to be honest. It always seemed so fully formed. I'm pretty sure that via Rob Hirst or someone else off The Music messageboard forum I had an actual demo of TTLRAWI which was based on the original version. That too was great. Long Road really did it for me. I have always been a huge Roses fan but I never really brought into that whole guitar dance thing. The Roses weren't really a dance band apart from 2 or 3 songs. Long Road however nailed it for me. That was a tune we could wiggle to! 🤣
