Takeuchi is adding a wheeled excavator model, the TB395W, to its product line. The TB395W is the first wheeled model the company has brought to the United States. As cities and population centers grow, contractors will need more versatility to move through jobsites quickly and efficiently. Takeuchi and other manufacturers believe wheeled excavators are the next step. Concerned about stability, Takeuchi says lowering the blade and rear stabilizers on the TB395W gives you a stable working platform. Also, the machine’s double-boom design allows operators to dig close into the machine and reach higher for cutting operations. Reaching speeds up to 18 mph, the TB395W combines excavating performance with on-road capabilities.
