Hey collectors! Lets take a look at the 2 movie Neca Ultimate IT Pennywise figures. Lets look at overall accessories, sculpt, paint, articulation and value. At the end of the day it comes down to your preference or which is your favorite version of Pennywise. For me I was interested to find the 2007 version kinda won me over the nostalgic 90s version.

The original Pennywise is more accurate in appearance to the book. They are described in the novel as looking like Bozo the Clown (and Clarabell). However, the overall film accuracy compared to the novel definitely goes to the new movie.

The original is the better for sure. Like someone said It, Pennywise as a monster pretending to be a clown, but the new version is a monster pretending to be a monster. The Victorian era outfit is definitely cool, but very drab. The original just pops so much more, and like I mentioned, they actually look like a clown where a kid wouldn't immediately shit themselves with terror. Plus, no one can argue that the original gives you waaaaaay more bang for your buck. Wouldn't make any sense if someone says that the new version is a better value lol. NECA did it this way because the new Pennywise is still very relevant and with the upcoming movie, they'll be able to make many It figures. So we will definitely get several more Bill Skarsgard Pennywise figures from them. So it's nice that for us old school fans that grew up with the original, we got everything we needed.

Couldnt agree more with you! Neca had the plan to give us more to come with the new pennywise. That "dancing clown" version looks sick!! Gonna have to grab that👍..also you can talk as much as you want to!! Thats the whole part of the collector community

I have the Tim Curry/1990's it & it is pretty awesome, but I do have some complaints. The heads go on fine for me, but one head just won't go on. Also, this will kill me, mine's elbow & knee joints don't bend! Maybe I'm not pushing hard enough, just don't want to risk a break. 😬

yeah with Neca you gotta be careful with joints and hinges because too much force they will break, believe me. Try hot water or a hair dryer. Either method will loosen up the joints😉👍
