Market highs can sometimes be followed by corrections, but predicting the timing and extent of it is challenging. I've heard some analysts talk about a 'massive' correction. It makes me wonder if it's time to adjust my $2M portfolios or maybe even consider some defensive investments.

Comments like this make me wonder how anyone can be any less self aware. Ask a man homeless at 60 after decades of struggling to pay bills and being unable to feed his family if money doesn't matter. There is no reason anyone in our society should retire broke, but it happens every single day and none of those people planned not to be able to feed themselves, most of them didn't plan at all, and that was the problem.

Money allows to do thing a and go places, and be in a position to be in healthy relationships. Money is necessary, you don’t remember it when you have it but it is the means that allows your life to expand in different directions. Don't ever forget it...and when you think about youTube, always ask yourself this: does youTube work for me, or I work for youTube? That will hopefully bring you back to your center. I also strongly recommend you meditation and regularly helping those less fortunate than yourself, hopefully people who don't even know who you are -you may have to travel for this, but it is doable. @@GrahamStephan The reason your views didn't dip when you posted less is that people can only watch so much of one topic/personality over time. A subscriber/regular viewer won't watch all of your videos, at some point they'll need to take a *break* from the topic or just expand their horizons, but they will keep coming back if the content is good. So good content is better than quantity long term for channel longevity. Quality also does not necessarily have to mean more investment in each video. Anyways, good on you for realizing there's more to life than money, optimizing your time for your self instead of optimizing yourself for the "world algorithm". Loved this type of video from you! Totally resonate with the idea of "enough". Sometimes I feel bad about "not doing more" (especially when I see creators like you who do so much!) so this was a good reminder, especially coming from you :)

This is the crazy thing about North American culture....work, work, work! It makes no sense. You are all told you need to work and work and any free time is bad, you should be doing something. It's so wrong. You should be able to enjoy life, have free time, relax, have hobbies, have down time, nap. Like it's wild that people want more and more money that they can't even use, work most of the day, and then just live a miserable tired life because you don't relax.

Graham, it's all about balance my friend. You are at great place financially. Find your peace and start doing things that you love, you have earned it. Focusing on art and aquariums is not silly, we all have different hobbies. You should be happy that you have not just one, but two. Don't stress too much about the money, because you are great with that, and even if you stop "working" right now, you are probably good for the rest of your life. You are a smart person and you will always find a way to provide for your family, no doubt about that, so don't stress so much, you have done so much financially at your age. Keep the work that you enjoy and have a balance between that work and everything else. I believe your health should be with highest priority, and also spend some quality time with your fiance, family and friends, that's what really matters. Keep it up. Greetings from a like-minded fellow from Bulgaria! :)

I also put a pause on making videos as I felt like burning out even before I really started. I plan to return once I find a relaxed format that I enjoy and can better connect with the people that follow me. Until then, I'm working on my businesses and collecting better stories to tell. Enjoy the day people, take it easy!

Obviously, you just need to hire a personal executive secretary. You tell them how many hours a week you want to apply to each set of tasks, and they figure out where and when you need to be in a place. Make sure you schedule plenty of pure relaxation time. You know your executive secretary will keep you on track.

This helps me. I've watched a lot of self-development videos, mostly good, but change is incredibly hard, especially at 62. I don't know why this was different than those, except perhaps, I knew you from your videos as someone who seemed a real grinder, almost toxically. I mean, you were laidback and humorous enough, but you seemed to have a "Never slow down, never give up!" undercurrent. I certainly learned some from you about being fiscally wiser, but this video gave me more than all the others. The art and garden, were specifically interesting. I'm striving to do more of what's really important- to me- and while it all requires money, money is the means, not the end. Thanks.

I am betting this video will be one of your most viewed because of your authenticity. It's easy to get caught up in life and work, and forget about our wellbeing and happiness. We have one life, it goes by so fast. I love your insight, 'to optimize your life to be happy', what a wonderful, simple thing we should all be doing. ♥

I think you were in the camp of optimizing for optimizations sake. In the beginning you wanted money for security and enjoyment and then forgot to do the enjoyment part. So good for you on stacking the scales with the other sides of life.
