Making history come alive is not always easy, but history teacher Jim Fletcher has managed to do so.
Fletcher has spent his life collecting presidential items, starting back in the 1960s with a campaign button from Nixon-Agnew here in San Diego. From there, a spark was created and the collection began to boom.
In this collection you can find more than 40,000 unique and interesting items from the current administration, all the way through presidential campaigns dating back to George Washington. It is hailed as the largest collection of its kind west of the Mississippi.
