The Camper renovation requires a little bit more water damage repair than expected... I also made sure to pull out the panel board, gas stove, and even the kitchen sink for a full remodel! Repairing the water damage wasn't too bad, it's putting all the paneling back up that became a bit frustrating... But after it's done you look back and see it was worth it! Hope your project goes well!

Perhaps consider using Advantech plus on your camper as it is water resistant and guaranteed for like 25 years or more.

I would have painted the rot damaged areas, and possible future wet spots with a coat of penetrating epoxy resin.

That woulda been a good idea. Luckily we haven't noticed any wetness, and we keep it covered now. Hopefully we won't see any issues in the future

We weren't too concerned with the draft, and we actually like the look of it from the outside. I don't think it would have the same vibe if we changed over to modern rv windows.

Should have used angle aluminum on the ceiling, would have had no flex at all.

Nah, all of the ceiling and walls were thin panel board. Only plywood was on the floor and bed area.

Stripping down a camper is always a bit nerve racking for me. Especially the newer ones held together with 1x1s, staples, and glue. Overall though looks like you got a gem to work with right off the bat. Roof hatches, windows, and corner seems always seem to be the worst spots for damage/leaks.

I'm honestly not sure, even trying to estimate is difficult for me, I had probably 3 weeks total labor, but the materials aren't bad since it's such a small space.
