This is a great video. I bought this printer in 2009. That is the year of manufacture. (mp250) The last year or two it has been misfeeding. After taking the printer down to the point where i could access the feed roller, i found that the nylon piece that the roller shaft rides in is worn quite a bit. That is, there is a lot of play in that nylon supporting piece. (approximately 1/8 inch movement up and down. I have assumed this is the problem of it not feeding. There is no fix for this problem, but thanks to viandant5 disassemble video i now have the answer to my feeding problem. Also, be aware that there will be ink everywhere as there are ink pads that catch excess ink that overflow. So wear some gloves if you disassemble. I love this printer, so i 'll just try to find a used one that has less wear and tear than mine. At 7:09 of the video, the white nylon piece to the left of the roller is the part that is worn, where the roller end rides in it. 14 years of operation for a $99 printer is a great deal imho.

Hmm, how do you removed a back panel so easily? Are you already disassembled this MP-250 before and broke some latches? On your video you're doing this so quick but in RL I can't remove it ☹️

What are the narrow, 1/2 or 3/4 inch strips of paper or vinyl for , that you take apart like at the 2:18 minute spot. I got my printer working. Thanks to you!

After following these steps, my MP250 will not work, and flashes 'alarm' and "P2" error. Any advice?

It's an error related to the ink cartridge or the connectors with the main board

Ciao, ho lo stesso printer mp270 che tenta di partire ma dopo un singolo flash del led verde resta spento. Se stacco l'unita scaner da errore p22 (quindi qualche segnale in piu di vita) Cosa puo essere? Grazie mille dei tuoi video.

Può essere la piastra base che non riesce a fare partire l'inizializzazione della macchina, se si è fortunati è qualche contatto o connettore
