I think he does that with his mouth when he concentrates and also to brace from the g force pushing him back. It looks like a smile (and it's probably 50% that), but It's definitely a way to cope with the intensity of the car.

While Dave was joking about 3 turbos on the Lambo, there is actually a McLaren MP4 running 3 turbos. Hypercar development I think is the company and last I remember it had 1300hp!!! So 3 turbos on Dave's Lamborghini could happen. Especially if the 3rd turbo is switchable. Turn it on when it's time to make insane power, turn it off when you want 900hp to drive around!!
