@@FrankDiNardi I love it. I live in the Pacific Northwest and my property was a Christmas tree farm back in the 70's. So I have a lot of work for it. Great video! I ordered my 1025r with bucket, backhoe and 54" mower deck two weeks ago ... it is a factory order and with the Deere strike we may not see it for 12 weeks or more. The trucker shortage might add to that as well, delivery to western Washington is a question mark. The nearest unit like this was in Oregon. Our local dealer had a good price on a factory ordered one. I know you will enjoy your new baby ... and your daughter too! Stay safe! ps I'm too old at 71 to be hand digging stumps from three 60ft cedars!

Hi Jay. So actually I did not even have to haggle with them. When I had called the dealership on that Saturday and the guy told me the price of the machine with just a bucket on it I thought to myself “wow that seems less than it was when I priced it out online“ So when I went to the dealership we were walking around and he showed me the one with the backhoe on it and told me the price of it. I had said “Mike that sounds like a lot less than it was when I priced it out online“ he proceeded to tell me that they are in the business of selling tractors and not having them sit around on the lot. Why try to charge too much money for them and you could go buy one somewhere else. At that point, I couldn’t turn the deal down.

Noticed that the plastic is still on your seat. Many people think they can protect the seat a little longer by leaving the plastic on, but moisture develops under the film and mold will grow (ruining your seat). The plastic will be coming off my seat the moment it is delivered. You can always get a cloth (breathable) John Deere seat cover.

Hi Tucker. Yes I am. I used it today for 3 hours digging more stumps. I had a much better feel for it today. I can say that it does not have an amazing amount of power but for me it has plenty. I am in no rush out there. I was running the machine at idol today after reading what rpm you should be at when digging and I was very happy with the results. I pulled one stump about 8 inches wide and that one took me a while. I had to move around it a couple times to pop it but it got!
@Diantane222 жыл бұрын
The backhoe experts have said that it is a better idea to leave the rear tractor wheels on the ground for more stability. Of course most of the weight is on the stabilizers.
@FrankDiNardi2 жыл бұрын
Somebody else had commented on that in the video and that’s what I do now. I just barely get a little weight off the back wheels with the stabilizers.

Frank: Really enjoyed your video! So happy a dream of yours came true. Curious; do you think it is large enough? I debate between a 1025 and 2025 as I too have a six plus acre parcel. Very similar but the 2025 is heavier with a larger frame. Also, have you used an augur attachment?
@FrankDiNardiАй бұрын
Hi Tim. Thanks very much I really appreciate it. Yes I think the 1025 is large enough. Again my property I’m only able to do stuff on half of it so it’s not like I’ve got access to the full 6+ acres because we’ve got that nature land there but for what I need it for it’s perfect. I can get it around my yard just perfect, I move forward with it perfectly, plowing snow is great. For me it’s perfect size. I’ve never had any thought that I needed something bigger! I’ve never used the auger attachment. I’ve never even taken the bucket or the backhoe off the machine so that’s all I’ve ever used. Someday I’d like to get a box blade to tune up my driveway cause I’m sure it will at some point would definitely be on the list for the future. Probably just a manual one with no hydraulics.
